The glamping tent exceeded my expectations and lived up to the online photos. The mattress was comfortable. Clean sheets and towels were provided. There is an electric space heater with a fan, and extra outlets (EU-style) for charging your devices. Near the entrance a small sitting area offers two comfortable chairs and a table. In August, the inner screen door would offer a nice view and breeze but in July it was too cool and rainy to take advantage of it. Dinner at the restaurant was from a buffet with salad, soup, meat, fish, sides, and a vegetarian entree option as well. We did not go away hungry. Both cash and credit cards are accepted. There is a tip jar for the mostly young and eager staff, with no option to tip if you pay by card. We observed an international crowd of diners including both Icelanders and foreigners. Don't get me started on the sitting pool and sauna. At reception they tried to lower our expectations ("it's not hot, more warm") but they still didn't do it justice. The pool is an 8-inch deep luke-warm puddle (probably 70 F on the day we visited, which was admittedly much warmer than the air temperature). The sauna was out of order.
