Itara Apartments

Been staying here at least once a year for the last 8 years. I had some issues with the unit we stayed in Jan 2025. Post the stay I emailed Itara office outlining my issues along with some photo examples. Within 1 day the owner had contacted me to discuss & commit to resolve the issues. Sometimes things do not go as expected, but I cannot fault the customer follow-up/service. As always the location/layout & particular staff are 5 star

Stayed here for 6 weeks whilst we waited for our furniture to arrive. Our air freight arrived, which included our iron. The day before we moved out, housekeeping came into our room and mysteriously our iron disappeared. Management want nothing to do with it and are refusing to rectify the situation stating it is nothing to do with them. Disgusting. Don't recommend

I recently stayed at Itara Apartments for 3 weeks on a work trip. From start to finish my experience here was AMAZING! The staff at reception are so lovely, and were able to help with any questions I had throughout my stay. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and always left my room fresh and spotless. The management team are exceptional, and went above and beyond to make this trip work well for myself and my company. They were very accommodating, and this was an excellent location for a business trip. These are genuinely good people who really care about their customers! The location of the apartments is superb. They are right on the riverfront, with stunning views from the balconies. There is a great circuit walk around the river right out the front of the building that I enjoyed on many afternoons. They are a short 2 minute drive from a large shopping centre (Willows), and from MANY different restaurants. It is also easy to drive to other areas of Townsville from this location. The facilities at the apartments are great, and they really have everything you need. My room was very spacious, with a large lounge / dining area and a great bedroom. There was also an extra study room with a desk. The bathroom was excellent, and had a dryer and washing machine as well. The kitchen was large and fully stocked with all the cooking utensils I needed. They also have a great pool, and I was the only one using it each time! The carpark is securely locked, and they also have plenty of public parking out the front as well if people are visiting you. Overall I would recommend staying at Itara Apartments to anyone travelling to Townsville. My stay was exceptional, and I will definitely be returning on future trips.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment for eight nights in December 2021. This was our second stay at Itara apartments, this time in a bigger unit to accommodate additional family members. The apartment is spacious and well appointed. The main bedroom was very quiet and the bed was comfy. A little road noise from the front bedroom but not enough to be a bother. Full sized fridge, with all of the kitchen and laundry amenities you would expect. A small balcony out the front and larger one at the rear overlooking the river. Excellent air conditioners and ceiling fans. Convenient location on the riverway just a short easy walk to the lagoon and pool. A great walking track along the riverway. Shopping centres, ten pin bowling alley, movie theatre, fast food and a variety of eateries all very close by. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
