The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the hotel very comfortable. Our room was kept spotless and the bathroom re-stocked every day. Breakfast was very good and varied. I loved that we could leave our skis and boots at Vallon Blanche ski rental, just down the steps from the hotel, and from there we just had to cross the road to reach the lifts and could ski right back at the end of the day.

The hotel has character, is clean, warm and spacious with sitting areas, logfire, bar,stunning views, a great restaurant and spa. It's just a short walk down some steps to the shops and ski slope. We stayed on the 4th floor, our room was lovely with a balcony, bathroom and separate toilet. It had everything you could want. The staff were amazing, so friendly and considerate, nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic. I've read some negative reviews about the food and wonder if these people ate at the same place i did? We were half board. Breakfast was a self-serve buffet with a selection of breads, cereals, yoghurts, cold meats, cheese, salad, pastries and sausage, bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. It was so filling, we skied all day and didn't need to stop for lunch! Evening meal changed daily, there was a choice between 2 starters and then a main course, if they didn't take your fancy there's a standard menu with a choice of 3 starters and 3 different mains. Desert is a selection of cakes. The portions don't look huge but were rich and filling, certainly don't leave feeling hungry! It's traditional Fench dishes so I guess if you are a pie and mash/fish and chips person maybe the food wouldn't be for you. Part of our half board package included eating at 3 other very local "sister" hotels, we tried them all and found the food to be of an equally high standard, bookings need to be made through reception the night before, we had no problem getting a table on each occasion. The spa was clean and well maintained. There's a small outdoor pool, not really big enough to swim lengths but perfect for relaxing in and enjoying the views. Also a sauna and steam room which was just what I needed at the end of the day. You can book various massage treatments but we didn't so can't comment. We had a wonderful week, would highly recommend and 100% will be returning.

Great location , friendly staff and wonderfully cooked fine dining meals. Spa and outdoor pool was fantastic after a hard day on the slopes .

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel The staff were really friendly and attentive. Its in a great position, very close to the slopes and lifts. The food, was lovely and the drinks selection were really good.

This is a superb hotel, every aspect of it from its facilities, food and drink and the wonderful staff make this a great place to stay in Tignes Le Lac. Right from the moment of arrival to our departure a week later we were treated to excellent hospitality at Hotel Les Campanules. The hotel is raised above the street which is reached by a series of steps which are not welcome after a long day skiing but the spa facilities and the menu du jour make it worth the climb and given most skiers have legs of steel (I don’t) it won’t be a problem. We stayed in room 310 which wasn’t a Mountain View room but still very comfortable and clean. The spa has a Sauna, Steam Room and outdoor heated pool. The pool isn’t large but has a facility to generate a strong current to swim against. The best part of the Hotel is the staff, they are a great team under the very friendly Director. He is clearly doing something right and it’s been a long time since I was so impressed by the friendliness and efficiency delivered by the team. A special mention for Morgan who is a really great guy and went the extra mile for us, he’s a real asset to the Hotel but that’s taking nothing away from his colleagues, they were all great. If you are looking for an excellent value, comfortable well run hotel near the ski lifts or even just for a relaxing stay in Tignes then look no further than Les Campanules.

This was our second year staying at this hotel and it was not as good as the previous year. Such a shame it’s a great location and the staff are lovely. The boot room electrics were broken and only upon enquiry were we advised to take our boots somewhere else to dry. The breakfast offering was considerably less than last year and the overall food wasn’t up to the same standard as last year. The hotel clearly needs investment, it’s looking tired in places. I would have gone back for a third year had it been of the same standard as last year but sadly I will go elsewhere.
