One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. We booked a 3-night stay at Hotel Tignes 2100 from April 17–20, but due to heavy snow and road closures on April 17, we physically could not get to the hotel. Public transport was shut down, and the only option was a €200+ Uber. We had no choice but to stay in Bourg Saint Maurice that night. When I reached out to ask for a refund for the night we missed, I was met with a cold and dismissive email from Remi Grandiere, the hotel’s online sales manager. Instead of even acknowledging the situation, he told me to "take this case with your own insurance" and insisted it wasn’t a force majeure, because technically the road reopened at some point and “other guests succeeded to come.” I followed up to explain why we couldn't make it despite that, and never got a reply. That was the entire response. No empathy. No attempt to understand. No professionalism. The rest of the stay was fine, but the way this was handled left a terrible impression. It's not just about the money, it’s about how guests are treated when things go wrong. In this case, it was handled terribly.

Superb staff, great food and a good welcome. We booked a package ski trip with Crystal and found this hotel to be excellent. The staff are keen, friendly and incredibly hard working. We had half board and found the food was always very high quality. The restaurant does get busy, we just came in at 6.00 pm each day and were seated and served promptly. The hotel is warm and comfortable. The drawbacks are that the rooms are quite small but ok if you get organised. The en-suite is glass with just a curtain for privacy and a slide door that doesn’t close properly. So, that’s not ideal. There is no boot room or ski lockers, just a small room with sliding racks for skis and to warm boots. Not ideal but it seemed to work ok. The location is excellent with a short walk to Toviere and Palafour lifts as well as the rendezvous for children’s lessons. There are other cafes and restaurants and a few shops around including a small supermarket that has excellent choice and reasonable prices. I would definitely return and give a big thumbs up to the staff, many of whom are Swedish season sites and are just the most delightful young people.

We have just returned from the best holiday at the Langley. Myself and my sister couldn’t have asked for more! It was a special holiday and it lived up to all our expectations. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Whatever we needed they were there to help. Whilst we were there we had a major snow fall and it was actually a chilled experience in a wonderful hotel. The staff who were able to get in were so hard working and helpful. Food was wonderful every night, all with cocktails and wine etc. I have to mention the pizzas which were fantastic! The bar area inside and out was perfect. I have wonderful memories of sitting in a deck chair enjoying the sun and looking at the mountains. The hotel is a perfect location. The spa is very relaxing. We spent an hour in the jacuzzi outside looking at the mountains and chilling. A lovely spa with sauna and steam room. I had read that the rooms were small but they were great with excellent storage. We didn’t have a balcony room but can imagine the view to wake up to! The shower was great and the room always kept clean and tidy by the very friendly housekeeping staff. Ski hire was perfect and in the hotel which was a bonus. The guy who looked after organising the skis and boots was very helpful. Good storage for boots and skis. The location of the hotel is perfect too. Just a short walk to the main meeting area and lifts. Shops, restaurants and cafes all around. Couldn’t be better. I could go on with so many positives about this hotel. All the staff were wonderful but special mention to the restaurant staff and manager there. So helpful and hard working. I am already saving up for the next ski holiday with my kids. I know they will love it! Thank you for a perfect stay either way memories made!

Chilled vibe, 3 course meal was very good every eve, service by staff was excellent, v friendly, we felt full each eve. Wines were v good we tried several, the balcony was good for après drinks with a DJ in the sun, breakfast was OK - coffee good - replenishment slow on some items. We’ve booked to come back twice next season - overall v happy.

A well reveiled hotel located 150 metre going down hill to the piste.Excellent heated ski and boot room .Vibe atmosphere ,welcoming mainly swedish staff and excellent three course set menu if you dine early no trouble getting a table as its first come . Downsides are a thru draught in the lobby as entry and exit doors are directly opposite and staff wear insulated gillits!Library gets no sun and is unheated, you could not swing a cat inthe bedrooms which have narrow single mattresses and unsupportive pillows giving a poor nights sleep.Indeed there is no where to sit other than lie on the bed although the tv had four english speeking channels. There is plenty hot water but the glass cupboard of a bathroom is tiny yet you cannot reach the heated towel rail unless you were six feet tall.Enough has beed said about the non closing door but it is possible to see hear and smell your partner easily ,not nice!

We have stayed at this hotel as a large group (12+) for 3 previous years and although we’ve had minor issues, they were not of concern to stop us returning for our 4th holiday at Tignes2100. I would say based on a large group who are pretty easily pleased and our previous experiences to compare, this is a fair review. We are not normally ones to complain for no reason. The hotel is perfectly located and has a nice modern interior, so this years experience is disappointing. Rooms - Yes, they are very small, the en-suite is a glass screen door that doesn’t provide privacy and the room facilities are basic, no tea/coffee, but there is a hair dryer. We accept that as we don’t spend much time in the room and they are clean, cosy and have a comfy bed. Ski Room - This is small and chaotic and best avoided around 9:00 ish when lifts and lessons are starting. I would also recommend using a personalised strap to stop others taking your boots or skis as this does occur with the chaos. Restaurant - This is the major issue. It is very clear there has been a change in management from previous years and it’s not working. The restaurant is absolute chaos but those in a couple may not have experienced the same. Jackie (not sure how the same is spelt sorry) is the manager and appears to be out of her depth at managing a busy restaurant. We visited other bars and restaurants in Le lac and food was served prompt, warm and without knowing what people were ordering from a large menu. The complete opposite to Tignes2100 who took orders from a small menu, confirmed order before serving, and still got it wrong when bringing to table. Other issues: 1. We sat and watched as outside guests came in and were seated before hotel guests for dinner. We were told a max of 20 outsiders were allowed but that was clearly not the case and confirmed when speaking with others. 2. There’s a long delay between courses because there’s not enough staff to cope with a full restaurant. 3. The food was always cold and at times not edible. I’ll normally eat anything put in front of me but there were some strange combinations of food on this occasion compared to previous years. Plus there was only a couple of options for hotel guests. 4. Every morning was a different issue regards breakfast. The options are very limited so when something is not available it causes more of an issue, Kettle broken, no yogurt, coffee empty, milk empty, cold food, no cups, no cutlery, tables not cleared. 5. The evening meal orders must be placed by 10:30am but there is not always a member of staff available to take your order at the restaurant point, so when you speak to reception to place your evening order, that never appeared to be communicated between staff so orders were wrong most nights. 6. One young male member of the restaurant staff in particular was very patronising, unaccommodating and needs training or moved on ! You don’t tell a customer that they are lying or refuse to assist. I won’t n

The Langley Hotel Tignes 2100 is ideally located close to the lifts which allow access to a huge ski are quickly and easily. The Village is purpose built as a ski resort but has everything you need. The hotel rooms are small but the beds are comfortable. The meals in the restaurant are very good with a set menu which always had a veggie option or the option of a choice of two Pizza's, the service was relaxed but usually pretty good. i would definitely book here again if i wanted to come back to Tignes.

The best service and most welcoming atmosphere. We were not staying guests at the hotel but were in an apartment next door so we made the most of visiting daily, and always made to feel most welcome. We loved the pizza (even GF option which I was grateful for), cocktail menu, great wine list, and we paid €14 for a buffet breakfast one of the days which had a great selection. The staff were so kind, friendly, communicative, and helpful. The interiors were tasteful and the fire and different ‘snug’ areas to sit were cosy and inviting especially after a long day skiing. Thank you to Vanessa the manager who has clearly done a great job at making sure everything is running smoothly and efficiently.
