Such great outdoor activities and we took advantage of them all! The staff was so engaging and nice... from helping us crack open some crabs for us non-Maryland natives to mixing a cocktail just the way we wanted it to remembering our names when we saw employees the following day.

My son was married at this beautiful venue just yesterday. The rooms were clean and very nice. The location is perfect for a wedding - beautiful views right on the water. I have to say the staff was AMAZING. From the front desk to the ladies helping with the wedding, the servers - they were ALL so kind, friendly and just the best! Everything was great - thank you to everyone at the Wylder!

First of all, this hotel is in a beautiful location and we generally had an enjoyable time. Bu the waterfront location is the main (only) reason for the higher nightly rate, I believe. The rooms REALLY need to be upgraded and refurbished. My room was too warm and had a terrible musty smell for the whole 4 days of the stay, even though the AC was running at full blast the whole time. There is only one small garbage can in the bathroom so bring your own bags for trash. Here are the pros / cons of this stay: PROS Cute facility Beautiful location Nice amenities (lawn games, water activities) Great pool Friendly staff Excellent food at Tickler's restaurant (but closed Mon and Tues) Common areas were clean CONS No refrigerator (could ask for one if needed) Old room and musty smell Hot and humid room Birds nest in the front of the room, with accompanying bird crap Cost relative to accommodations Skimpy breakfast Small room No fire pit on last night

Lovely property and room, slight odor from the bathroom water that we couldn’t figure out. Staff were lovely and the restaurant was great! A bit sad we could not stay longer and enjoy more of the amenities. Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of D.C.

Great value! The property has 2 restaurants and views for days. Lovely, small spot to come w friends, kids, and/or as a couple. Food and drinks are great. Staff is v friendly and kind! Close to St. Michael's and Easton. Looking forward to coming back!

Had a wonderful spring getaway here! The setting is gorgeous and the staff (most especially Ramon!) was so helpful and friendly. Ramon went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The off season was a nice time to take advantage of the bikes and beautiful firepits. Highly recommend!

The rooms are very small. The bathroom is very small. The shower stall is hard to move around in. The chairs in room are not comfortable. The bed is uncomfortable. Not a romantic couple’s weekend getaway. The breakfast was coffee, tea, cereal and fruit. The restaurant dinner meal was not very good. Had crab cakes and they were not very flavorful.The two positives were the drinks at the bar and the view from our room. Please do not come here.

Ramon is the sweetest kindest most helpful person. He always goes the extra mile. All the staff at the hotel had excellent customer service. The rooms were super clean, beautiful towels, comfortable bed and pillows. The view is absolutely amazing.
