Tioman Dive Resort

This was the first time I was visiting Tioman, and I'm very happy I chose this resort to stay at. It is located right next to the ABC jetty and is a well-established resort. They have their own single rooms, dormitory, bar, and even an awesome training reef right next to their resort. There are wonderful mini marts and restaurants with quality local food right next to the resort. It is also very easy to rent a scooter from the next-door shops. The staff are extremely friendly, and I had a wonderful stay. The main reason for me to visit Tioman is to do a refresher course and do some fun dives. My instructor, Mr. Koh, was a highly skilled diver, and he promised me he would make sure that I'm 100% confident with my dives. As he promised, he trained me very well without even watching time and made sure I had the confidence to dive like a pro, and also made sure I had perfect buoyancy while navigating around. I can't thank Mr. Koh enough, and I'm already planning my 2nd trip and subsequently to pursue my advanced open water course with Mr. Koh being my instructor if possible. For those who are reading the reviews, if this is your first time visiting Tioman, without thinking twice, book this place. Please take note that the rooms will be filled very fast, but look out for Agoda for any last-minute cancellations so that you can grab your room. I was very happy with my stay and looking forward to another trip with this dive resort soon.

Located a short walk from where the ferry drops you off at Air Batang jetty (there are multiple jetty stops). Staff were friendly and helpful. I was not here as a diver but booked here on the strength of reviews not only from this site. I was not disappointed. My room was very well appointed. It was one of the best rooms I have stayed during my extensive travels around SEA. I could not find fault with anything. All boxes were ticked and I mean all. Someone certainly knows how to fit out a hotel room. Some may whine about no toothbrush & paste but I travel with my own. As far as nearby restaurants/minimarts go it is a real challenge. You just don't know when they're open and when they're closed. Overall, I had a totally comfortable stay.

Great place to stay for diving in Tioman. Stayed in a triple room which was very comfortable, clean and well maintained and had everything we needed for our weeks trip. Loved the water dispenser taps for re-filling water bottles too - was very useful and a nice sustainable touch. Location was also great, just a short walk from great local restaurants and the jetty. We really enjoyed having drinks on an evening and catching up with fellow divers in the B&J bar too - this was a great hub for the resort. There is a really friendly and family feel throughout B&J and I can’t wait to come back.

The rooms are cozy, clean amd well maintained. the bathrooms are big, the receptionist and other staffs are all very helpful and friendly. Would definitely come here again with family for a private beach experience.
