The Relais Merizzi is a beautiful B&B located at the source of the Bernina Express in Tirano. It is located within a few minutes walk from the station. Hosts Alessia and Jeremy are charming and knowledgeable and the staff are friendly and competent. The rooms are truly lovely and include a small fridge, coffee/tea making facilities and unobtrusive room service. Our room on the 5th floor (accessible via elevator) commanded amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant/bar on the lower floor is one of the hot spots in Tirano - try the local specialties in particular.

We were very pleased with our stay in the Relais Merizzi. We booked the holiday flat and a family room. In particular the clenliness and the facilities of the rooms have convinced us. The interior is well done and tasteful. Relais Merizzi is located in the beautiful old town, nevertheless parking is easily possible in the near sourrounding. As there are bakeries, shops and an excellent butcher ( who also offers cheese and regional wine) in the direct neighbourhoud, self-catering is no problem. The train station is about 10 minutes away on foot.

This truly is a lovely place to stay. Located just ten minutes walk from the railway station Relais Merizzi in a quiet square with calm, clean and cosy rooms. Our room was incredibly clean, well appointed and with the best bed we have slept in in many years. The bathroom is modern and clean. Alberto is a kind and gentle host. He is very helpful. We have travelled through Tirano on numerous occasions and this is, by far, the best place we have stayed. Delightful.

We slept only one night in this b and b .... pity !!!! Beautiful rooms in the center of the village, a stone's throw from the departure station of the red train, breakfast buffet available 24 hours a day with all kinds of delicacies for different needs and tastes, the owner, Mr. Alberto, helpful and very kind in his advice and 'welcome .... top !!!!

Comfortable and close to the center. Mr. Alberto is an exquisite person. Always present for every need. He welcomed us and explained the area with passion and gave us directions for the trip on the wonderful red train. The apartment is very large and equipped with everything (many pots, kitchen tools and bathroom equipment equal to those found in hotels). The highlight are the products in the kitchen for breakfast (snacks, jams, milk, yoghurt for all tastes in the fridge and much more). Present washing machine and dishwasher. Comfortable bed (I even have a topper!) and quiet room. In short ... since the red train must be lived in 4 seasons for the next stay we already know where to stay, a guarantee!

Abbiamo alloggiato presso la struttura nel week end del 1 novembre. Alberto è una persona gentile, disponibile e vi spiegherà in ogni piccolo dettaglio tutto sul trenino del Bernina, e su cosa vedere a Tirano e dintorni. Seguite i suoi consigli anche su dove mangiare bene e su cosa comprare. Stanza calda, accogliente, pulita, colazione che offre tutto in versione dolce. Posizione centrale, cosa altro aggiungere… consigliati simo!

Ospitalità e serietà di alto livello camere di una pulizia estrema e strutturate da 5 stelle ...prima colazione molto abbondante ,posto in pieno centro 300mt dalla stazione per il Bernina Rosso. Struttura talmente messa bene e tenuta talmente bene che sembra appena inaugurata. Ottimo e complimenti ad Alberto per la sua massima disponibilità soggiorno molto ma molto piacevole.
