Short walking distance to Nishi-shinjuku train station and hilton hotel where you can take the limousine bus to Haneda Airport. It’s about 20-25 min walking distance to Shinjuku if you choose to walk. There’s a 24hr convenience store located at hotel basement but it’s small so variety is limited. But there are a few other convenience stores a stone’s throw away too. Love the free amenities at the hotel lobby. On rainy days, you can borrow umbrella from the reception. Washing machine available but need to pay and is always long queue. We could only fully open 1 large suitable.

This hotel *absolutely* won't let guests sleep!
The hotel *insists* on room cleaning between 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM. If you don't comply, they'll call your room repeatedly and staff will even come knocking on your door to hassle you! They simply won't let you get any rest!
I work nights and need to sleep past midday. However, the staff here showed *no understanding* whatsoever! After decades of staying in hotels, this is the *first time* I've encountered such an issue!
That 'Do Not Disturb' sign (pictured in Fig 3) is completely useless, as they *insist* on coming in to inspect the room themselves!
If you cannot leave your room before noon for them to clean, *do not* choose this hotel!
What's more, right from check-in, I found the hotel wasn't clean! There were numerous unidentified items on the floor – I would have done a better job cleaning it myself!
The location is excellent; it's about a 10-minute walk to Tokyo Station and Ginza, and 7-8 minutes to Nihonbashi Takashimaya. There's also direct access to Haneda Airport. This area, part of Tokyo's CBD, is surprisingly quiet, and the streets are much cleaner and tidier than those in Shinjuku or Shibuya. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is very convenient. While the rooms are compact, I really liked the bathroom's separate wet and dry areas. The service was also great. Daiwa is always my top choice for accommodation whenever I visit Japan!
