The facities is a little old but our room is newly renovated and the view from our room is stunning The skii area is beautiful and we loved the skii activites however the dinner and the breakfast was disappointing the food quality wasn’t up to standard it was cold and not tasty

Check-in is around 3 PM. You can change and head straight to the hot springs. Yes, everyone has been to saunas, steam rooms, and hammams, but the onsen is unlike anything else. It's impossible to convey the emotions. The combination of hot, clear water, pure air, surrounding nature, the rushing river, the play of light on the leaves, the scents, and the silence offers something new and unique. There are three public baths on the premises and one exclusively for women. After bathing, head to the restaurant for dinner, featuring local dishes. I recommend ordering both dinner and breakfast in advance. The food is very delicious and unique. You will sleep on futons, which will be carefully laid out for you while you have dinner. It’s a wonderful experience, and you'll sleep as lightly as a child. I would love to return here to experience that happiness again. One day was not enough.

I want to go to a slightly extravagant hot spring tour with my friends. I chose this boutique hot spring, which coincides with heavy snow. The staff went to the station to pick us up. We used this hotel to celebrate my mother's 77th birthday. We were impressed from the outside even before entering the inn. It is clean and has a relaxing Japanese atmosphere. It seemed like it took a long time to check in because they were busy, but the welcome drink soothed us. The long corridor, electric cart, gondola, and stairs to get to the room on the 6th floor were tough for my 77-year-old mother, but by the time she went down to the bath, she was already enjoying it and said, ”You get used to it, but it doesn't bother me, but I'd get lost if I was alone.” She walked as if she was going for a walk. Each dish was carefully prepared and the seasoning was just right, so my mother enjoyed it. They also accommodated the men's requests for rice, and the white rice was delicious! They even prepared purple chanchanko for my mother's 77th birthday. My siblings who went with us all said ”We want to come again!” and best of all, my mother was smiling and happy the whole time, so I'm really glad we chose Kawaba Onsen Yuurian. Awesome hotel! Although some places look old, they are very clean and tidy, so they are not affected. Dinner is set but it's different every day, some days are amazing. Breakfast was buffet but basically nothing changed. The hot springs are very good, especially the outdoor hot springs. Snow falling on the body under the stars feels special. The hotel staff is the most hardworking I've ever seen, and the same person dials the front desk, the restaurant and so on. There is a young man named Pu who speaks some Chinese in South Korea who is very friendly and tries to meet the various needs of guests. The only thing that was not very satisfactory was the attitude of a typical Japanese male who was rather perfunctory. We wanted to change the dinner time one day and he refused. Later, I asked the young man named Park, he said yes, and then called and confirmed with the restaurant to help us improve our time. All in all a hotel worth visiting again.
