Jiuri Guangying Hotel

Rooms looked exactly like the photos, really cozy with a seating area overlooking the river. I was sold the moment I saw the huge glass windows. My view was partially blocked by trees but that wasn't a dealbreaker. There was also a cozy hangout place down at the lobby. Hosts were friendly and there was a house cat to keep you company. The hotel is located just outside the Xizha walls, at the opposite end of its ticket entrance. You can either walk there or take didi, so location isn't much if an issue. After absorbing in all the night scenes, you can exit the Xizha scenic area at a gate that's right next to the hotel. Very convenient. While you can spend no crowd early mornings and late nights of Xizha if you were to stay inside the scenic area itself, it comes at a steep price for hotels, compared to what you can get outside the walls. I definitely recommend staying outside for its cost effectiveness, if you go during non peak periods, you pretty much have the whole scenic area to yourself anytime of the day anyways.
