If you're looking for a clean, affordable place to stay near Wuzhen but don’t want to pay the premium of staying inside the scenic area, this guesthouse is a fantastic option.
The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the price is very reasonable — especially compared to the hotels inside the old town. What makes this place special is the local touch: the family that runs it is incredibly friendly, and they also run a small dining area where the food is home-cooked by locals. Meals are served in generous portions and full of flavor — great if you want to try authentic home-style Chinese food.
During check-out, we even received a small farewell gift, which was a really sweet surprise. The owner also helped us book a car to our next city at a better price than what we found on the usual apps.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for budget-conscious travelers, especially foreigners who are looking for something local, warm, and real. You don’t have to stay inside Wuzhen’s tourist area to enjoy your visit — this guesthouse gives you everything you need, with a touch of true hospitality.

The owner was really friendly and get us a good deal for the transport from hangzhou to wuzhen. There’s someone there to help with the luggage so hassle free.
The hotel location is just outside the wuzhen scenic area so is really convenient !

Good experience when staying here because the owner and all people in the homestay are very friendly and supportive, they are always there to help you bring luggage, book taxi, give you water, or advise you all things you need, they even give us souvenirs when we check out.

The owner is very nice and friendly. There’s no lift in the building, but the owner helped us to carry our luggage to the room. He also recommended us hanfu and photo shooting studio which provides a superb service.
The room comes with 2 beds, hence, it’s a bit pack with our luggage open up. The room type a bit old (traditional feel) but overall we had good experience here.
The owner also very helpful, he helped us to arrange transport from wuzhen to Suzhou with a low rate. He also give us souvenirs before we left.

We were touched by the owner Mr Chen who came to our rescue when our irresponsible driver dumped us telling us don’t know where is the hotel as he doesn’t read English.
He saw us from far gave us an open welcome and warm. And hurried us into his Orel.
His hotel is simple and warm and family oriented hotel. With lots of appreciation and many many thanks to him to begin my holiday with lots of family warm.

Great location & super service by owner name 小陈。once we arrive helping us to Carry luggage to 3rd floor.room is very clean & cosy. Below restaurant food is yummy & the price is reasonable. Given a lot of tourist information. I fully recommend staying here.
