Tongxiang Hotels with Pools

Its our 2nd time in Wuzhen, so we prefer staying a night is the best way or the only way for tourist to enjoy wonders of Wuzhen Watertown. This hotel is located inside the watertown so you have the privilege to roam till late and as early in the morning. Since its our first time staying in the hotel, we are not aware that the hotel has 2 entrances. We checked in at the common area, while our luggages will be transported to our designated hotels, since we only had a day to explore, without dropping to our hotel we go straight to the West part of Wuzhen water town. This time we almost finish the whole area, and we felt so amazed with bands singing inside restaurants, and it turned out so well. During the day, you can enjoy the old stone alley. We stayed in East gate, one unit has 3 rooms, 1 on the 1st floor (which we had), while 2 more rooms upstairs. Ground floor has a common area for morning tea time. We choose the lower ground since it has balcony overlooking a part of the watertown. While for the room, definitely its expected to be old style, but its clean, with typical Chinese decor of 4 posts bed frame, which practically makes the room a bit crowded. Breakfast is typical buffet type, good taste. Servers are very efficient, since guests coming in continuously. They're so attentive as soon as you finished your food, they'll surely cleans your plate out. Overall, we did enjoy our stay.

It's no exaggeration to say that I will definitely recommend ALILA Hotel WuZhen to my friends if they have plans to travel to Jiaxing. From the moment I arrived the hotel, I felt the warm welcome from the front desk staff. I was really enjoying the warm welcome drinks, fresh pear juice provided by the check-in lobby. In particular, thanks to Sherry, the receptionist, who contacted me in advance before my arrival and kindly reminded me that thick clothes need to be prepared for the local cooling. The concierge took the initiative to help me bring my luggage to the room and personally guided me to the room, they gave a detailed introduction of the hotel facilities and dining outlets. I was greatly moved and surprised by the exquisite welcome amenity prepared on the table in the room. There are delicate and delicious macarons, fresh fruit plates prepared with care, a bottle of fine red wine, afternoon patisserie with Zhejiang characteristics, and even a welcome letter handwritten by General Manager Nick. I can feel that Alila's staff really treat guests with true heart. I still want to thank a boy who worked in the hotel bar. I'm sorry that I forgot his name. He patiently took beautiful photos of me on the afternoon of my arrival, recording my wonderful moment in the Alila Hotel. I really enjoy the relaxing time in the bar of this hotel. There is a standing performance of Filipino band in the bar at night. The service provided by the band was very good. They cared about each guest on the scene and asked each guest what song they wanted to listen to in a friendly and warm manner. I was really immersed in relaxing and drinking there. The breakfast in the hotel is well-done. The food quality and taste are very good. The breakfast choices are very rich. The only disadvantage is that the skin of shrimp dumplings is too thick. Alex, the Director of Food and Beverage, actively inquired about our stay experience and personally served us with care. The service was very good. He knew that we felt too hot when sitting outdoors and quickly helped us transfer to the indoor table near the window. When I was checking out, the front desk staff treated us warmly as always, and gave me a sleeping pillow spray and a wash and care package as a parting gift, which greatly moved me again. Compared to the next hotels I stayed in on this trip, the hotel that impressed me the most was definitely the Alila Hotel, with its superb service.

The hotel room is clean and spacious. Hotel staff are friendly and provide good service. This is my first time travel to China, and this is the first hotel I had stayed in China. I’m impressed with this experience.

The room is not big, but very clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is also OK. There is a baby park where the baby can play for a while. It is close to the scenic spot and very convenient to go to Xizha. It is quite suitable for family travel. The baby fell in the locker room of the swimming pool and got a little injured. It was caused by my carelessness. The hotel prepared band-aids for us, which is very considerate. Thank you☺️

This hotel is conveniently located about 200m to the east gate entrance. The rooms are big and well maintained. The bed big and comfortable. Since it was off season we got a really good deal. The breakfast even had bread, croissants, butter, jam and drinkable real coffee. There is also a pool which even had water!

The rooms are quite new and good except that they are small. The soundproofing seems to be average. Overall, it is good and convenient for travel. The hotel facilities are very good. The bathroom has no odor. The room is very warm and very suitable for long-term stay

Inspirok Hotel Tongxiang- First time back in Tongxiang after 4 years. 7 nights in a spacious ”Business Room” in building B with 2 very firm king single beds that gave me a sore upper back. (I don't have back problems normally...) Flat pillows. The hopeless Air-conditioning struggled to get to an absolute low of 23C and was noisy. (32C days and 26C nights.). Huge bathroom with bath. Flow limited shower with hand shower and rain shower. Mostly quiet due to reduced occupancy and outside traffic. Good blockout curtains. International power points with USB power but you must have an earth pin if you want to use an Aussie plug. (Or risk manually pushing up the earth lockout.) Many free english movies available now on the tv in reasonable quality. One thing that I found particularly handy was that a small tube of liquid laundry detergent is supplied and some hooks above the bath. There was no bar fridge in my room on arrival but one was quickly supplied, gratis, when I asked. (Empty). Large shopping mall one block from the hotel and small 7-eleven type shop very near the front entrance where you can buy tsing taos for 6rmb. The included buffet breakfast was pretty average with fewer choices and poorer quality than similar 5* hotels. Very average automatic coffee machines and coffee pots. It was also so overcrowded on the Sunday- with a convention booking- that many people could not be seated. Most mornings it was reasonably quiet. Excellent room service Indonesian fried rice. I also had the ”all you can eat” buffet a couple of nights but thought that it was over priced for the quality of food available at 138RMB (approx 30aud.) Reasonable wifi access throughout the hotel and I was able to read my Gmail but not send it. (I couldn't even download it in Jiangsu.) There is no option on the Trip booking page to ask for 'special requests” for this hotel. Also no option to ask for a non smoking floor and I wasn't asked at check-in. Very annoying.

The room facilities are too old, and the musty smell from the elevator corridor hits your face. Checking in was a bit frustrating, the first room smelled of cigarette smoke, and there were used towels thrown on the TV cabinet. I called the front desk and asked to change rooms. The front desk was very polite and upgraded the room type for free. The air conditioner is really terrible, the cold wind is very strong, and it blows and stops for a while, and it feels a bit hot, so it starts blowing very cold wind again, and the baby caught a cold in one night. Now I am still stuck in Tongxiang because my baby has colds and fevers repeatedly. Also, let’s talk about breakfast. There are few categories, especially the tall guy wearing a chef’s hat who cooks wontons and noodles. He has a very bad attitude. The first time I asked him for a bowl of wontons and noodles, he didn’t respond at all. He didn’t even know. Did you hear it? He said it again and he rolled his eyes. When he went to ask for the second bowl, he was leaning on the counter playing with his mobile phone. He asked for a bowl of wonton stew. He muttered and cursed and reluctantly put down the phone and started cooking wonton stew. The experience was terrible. Eating breakfast felt like begging for food. I regret that I chose the old brand New Century in the first place. I am not happy.

The location is excellent, only 350 meters away from the Xizha entrance. It can be said to be one of the B&B hotels closest to the attractions. There is free parking. There is an elevator in the store🛗, and the store service is very good. He also taught us how to visit Xizha Scenic Area and avoid pitfalls. It’s super convenient to order takeout outside the scenic area and there are many store options around.

It is very convenient to park nearby. There is a parking lot next to the homestay, and you can enter the homestay directly through the small door. The room is clean and tidy, the style is simple, it is very suitable for taking pictures. The homestay also comes with a small swimming pool where you can swim at night.
