Stayed for a weekend break great little hotel warm friendly welcome made to feel at home, Great style in bar & room location fantastic short walk to front & shops, one ofnthe best breakfasts we've had my partner raved over the eggs benedict & the cholate brownies made by Wendy are the best ever, Will definitely use again when in the area cant recommend highly enough.

Could not fault , hotel and room was spotlessly clean , booked a junior suite room 10 which was spacious with a lovely super king bed . Hosts were very friendly ,recommended a local pub for food just around the corner which was excellent as well as a local taxi firm who were great for getting us to and from the Babbacombe theatre about 3km away. Breakfast was excellent ,overall a great stay and would have no hesitation recommending if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay , we will definitely book again when returning to the area .

This is one of the best small hotels I've stayed in. The room was so comfortable and had everything I could have wanted, plus I had a lovely view of the park at the front of the building. The hotel has a great dual lounge with a very well stocked 'honesty' bar, which I hadn't experienced before. The hosts, Wendy and Steve, were so very welcoming and made time to chat. You can tell that they really care about your stay and take a real pride in their establishment. The hotel is about 15 minutes or so, walking from the town and restaurants, but they kindly suggested local places to have an evening meal, which I took advantage of. I had a fantastic meal at a local village pub 10 minutes stroll away. I loved the fact that they made this recommendation and supported another local business. Finally, the breakfast. Wow! It's probably one of the best I've ever had. The selection of help yourself items were simple but fabulous quality. The ingredients for the Full English were second to none and cooked to perfection. I really can't say much more about it, but you havevtovtry it, you definitely wouldn't be disappointed. The coffee was top-notch as well. Once, again, both hosts made time to talk but subtly balanced, giving me plenty of time to eat my breakfast and make it more of an experience. Thank you, Wendy and Steve, for making this such a lovely stay.

Can highly recommend this accommodation. The hosts Wendy and Steve are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is the best my favourite was the sourdough and avocado. I was there in October and booked again for December. The rooms all have a personal touch and are very clean.

Steve and Wendy were excellent hosts, really looked after us and the place was amazing, really made us feel at home with a nice festive vibe appropriate for the time of year. Very clean, well decorated & spacious rooms and a lovely breakfast to go with it. Easy to get to as well with a 8 min walk from Torquay station. Highly recommended and will be here again!

Steve and Wendy were great hosts, greeted with a warm welcome. Warm and cosy room with two big windows. In the bathroom had nice finishing touches. Room was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, also you could help your self to mince pies, water and milk which was left in the dining room which was nice. I would definitely stay again when I next visit Torquay.
