Hyencos Hotel Calos

We stayed a week in the annex of the hotel which is a bit dated as the hotel rooms renovated only in the furniture the rest maybe from the 80s. The bathroom was not classifiable to be a 4 star hotel shower cubicle broken for some time detached tiles false ceiling falling apart. There was no buffet at dinner for reasons of covid but in the morning breakfast was a buffet. Question, is covid only available at certain times?? The scalet on the beach could only serve lunch from 1pm onwards. Another question, but if one is hungry beforehand, especially with children, is one forced to go elsewhere? Animation for children practically non-existent. Good food but not up to a 4-star rating, vegetables these unknown side dishes always and only potatoes in all ways. ants in the rooms the answer was "we found crumbs in the room" of course with a little girl who can have a snack it's normal I think, but in the hotel they clean all the xcio days the breadcrumbs can be removed very quickly the problem is elsewhere To solve the problem of the broken air conditioning thermostat we are given a fan and replaced the thermostat after 2 days with temperatures ranging from 40 degrees. aged 25 or over with a driver who risked an accident at least 10 times in one week. Positive notes the swimming pool, the proximity to the town center and the kindness of the waiter who served us. For the rest, the people we dealt with at the reception xcio I believe those involved in the management of the hotel in my humble opinion are not up to it. We will certainly not be returning next year.

Ho soggiornato dodici notti a fine Giugno/ inizio Luglio con la mia famiglia, 1 bimbo di 6anni. La posizione della struttura è il punto di forza. E' vicino al porto e a pochi passi dal centro turistico dove ci sono bar, ristoranti e boutique. Possiede anche un cortile interno, dove poter parcheggiare la macchina. La spiaggia con relativo ombrellone e 2 lettini, fanno parte della tessera club, che si deve pagare in loco al costo di 180€. Questa informazione mi è arrivata dopo aver prenotato. Il lido è raggiungibile solamente a piedi, seguendo un percorso ben definito oppure dal lungo mare attraversando 5 bagni. A parer mio, qua il mare e la sabbia sono veramente spettacolari. Inoltre è molto bassa, bisogna camminare un po' prima di arrivare dove è alta, quindi con mio figlio è stato perfetto. L'unica pecca il bar, non si mangia un granchè bene ( noi andavamo al lido vicino) ed è sprovvisto di docce. Tornando all' hotel, le camere sono sufficientemente grandi….la nostra aveva anche un terrazzino con tavolo, sedie e stendino. La pulizia impeccabile, complimenti!!! Anche tutto il personale è stato gentile e disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta. La piscina l'abbiamo usata poco, va bene con dei bambini per giocarci un po' ma il dehor e gli sdrai sono un po' trascurati. Anche le parti comuni, interne all'albergo, sono un po' abbandonate...probabilmente in passato fornivano anche un servizio di pensione completa che oramai è dismesso. La colazione è a buffet, con il minimo indispensabile. Non lo definirei proprio un albergo a 4 stelle, bisognerebbe rinnovarlo un pochettino. Tutto sommato non ci siamo trovati male.

Ottima struttura sul migliore tratto di spiaggia tra Gallipoli e Leuca. Personale simpatico e disponibile. Abbiamo fatto bene a scegliere la formula HB perché sia il cibo sia il vino erano buonissimi. Comoda anche la piscina. Parcheggio chiuso è un bel plus. In centro a Torre San Giovanni che aiuta per le passeggiate dopo cena lungomare (facile anche da raggiungere).
