Family-friendly Hotels in Torremolinos

Good first…room was cleaned well,beds and pillows very comfortable, Hotel in general clean and modern public areas Coffee cafe was great,with excellent coffees. Drink quality was very good for all inclusive Staff,mostly very good and friendly. Service sometimes a bit slow but was mostly done with a smile .the staff work very hard and seem very understaffed. Not so good… breakfast was probably about the best meal of the day,toasters not good,slow refilling food,but edible food most days. Food quality could’ve been better,cheap cuts of meat,same fish most days. One choice of vegetables so if you didn’t like sprouts there wasn’t another veg.We are not fussy eaters at all but if it wasn’t for the salad bar,we would’ve struggled.very little in the way of traditionalSpanish food…yes there was ‘paella’ but I use the term loosely.pasta dishes very basic and tasteless. I felt sorry for any vegetarians that may have stayed here,their offerings were dire. We ate in town half a dozen times at least,our choice of course. Pool…I love to relax in the sun but the pool gets very little of it because of the position of the buildings,not much the hotel could do about that.we had a look at roof terrace,uninspiring,with trash spread on floor near self serve bar.artificial grass which was not in good repair. I don’t like giving a bad review ,just a truthful one.people might say “why not tell staff when things aren’t good?” Well after witnessing a male reception member give a young lady the third degree for asking for more pillows,I thought it would be a pointless exercise.he was rude and awkward as he could be over something so easily sorted. I don’t usually do such long reviews and I always try to mention the positives as I did firstly. Would I stay here again….No.

It was nice, but it's a pity that you have to pay 25 euros to check in earlier and 15 euros per hour to check out later, which adds up if you have a late flight, it's better to book an extra night.

Very old school hotel (Bit dated) Yeah! needs a face lift. But location wise was superb. Right in the centre and just walking distance from Torremolinos Train Station. Beautiful views from the top floor overlooking the Mediterranean Ocean. The room was small and bed was awful. Staffs were very friendly. Not recommended.

Palia Las Palomas is 656 feet from the beach, in the Carihuela area of Torremolinos. Set in gardens, it offers an outdoor pool with a hot tub and a small fitness center.Air-conditioned rooms at Palia Las Palomas come with a private bathroom and a mini-bar. You can hire the safe and there is a TV. Most rooms have a private balcony.The hotel features a sun terrace, with loungers and parasols. There is a children’s play area, TV lounge and games room.The Piano Bar offers cocktails and an evening entertainment program. The hotel’s buffet restaurant features show cooking, and serves Spanish and international cuisine.Car hire is available from the hotel’s 24-hour reception, and on-site parking is available for a supplement. Torremolinos Train Station is 10 minutes’ walk away, and there are regular trains to Malaga Airport, 3.7 mi away.

To spend a few days with the family the hotel can be recommended. The food is the weak point. The quality is not bad but it has no flavor.

Loved it here. First off, it’s a 1970s built hotel, there have been lots of improvements but there are still some things straight from the 70s, and that’s ok by me. It doesn’t make it tired, just adds character. The food was lovely, our room on the 4th floor had an amazing view and was a good size (plenty of hanging/storage space. No kettle, no problem, we took our own and tea, coffee etc, there is a great little fridge. BBC1 and ITV 1 for news etc. Three things to note: there are average queues at the bars, the staff work very hard but there aren’t many of them so queues form. It is the same at dinner, they are so busy clearing and laying tables it’s hard to get someone’s attention. It didn’t bother us, but if you don’t like this, not the place for you. The lifts are busy, as we expected, we managed and had a good laugh with people waiting for them. There is nothing the hotel could do about it, nobody’s fault. The hot food is not hot but warm, it didn’t spoil our experience, we loved the food. However, this is one thing mentioned a lot and I think is easy solvable, either new Bain Marie’s or turn them up. We had room 1412 and it was perfect. All staff were friendly, worked really hard and kept everything running cleanly and well. Thankyou to you all. Loved the evening entertainment, good quality and enjoyable. Tip: if you go to the beach as we did, the sun beds opposite the hotel were lovely and the old boy and young man who look after them were so friendly and polite €6 each per day, with little table and ashtray if required. You can use the Los Coralas bar on the beaches toilets. As for the actual bar, staff really awful and try to rip people off, see its own trip reviews and we experienced it, avoid if you can. Would return to this hotel.

Just back from a week at ALUASUN, we were given room 206, a big room, with fridge, plenty of hanging space and shelves, Big bathroom also with hairdryer and gel... Belcony once again big but no view as such, as looking at other rooms, cleaned every day with fresh towels when requested. Restaurant food was excellent plenty for all tastes, and free beer... Imed who worked on the door always cheerful and a good laugh, the restaurant staff were always busy clearing the tables.. The shuttle bus was also very good and mostly run on time.. An airport taxi to the hotel is only 20E so check that out before you book your transfers through your holiday site... Really. Can't fault the hotel or staff. There are shops on site, a lovely pool and play area,. One down side was our neighbours, a Scottish couple in room 207 who spent their time in arguments the first few days, in the end I had to call down to the reception, so they did quieten down after that.. Can't hold Aluasun responsible for the noise of other quests.. Kettle for your room, 10e deposit returned to you when kettle returned, safely deposit box 19e for the week, with a 20e refundable deposit... Would diffently return here.... There is also a clothes outlet just up the road worth a look...

Another lovely holiday at Riu Costa del sol. I've already commented on hotel previously but I'd like to give a big shout out to the cleaners. They work tirelessly and not just the rooms. We watched one lady polishing the handrails and glass and they use different coloured cloths for each task. My wife and I both commented on using the public toilets how few guests bother to wash their hands so top marks to Riu for all the staff they employ to make our holidays enjoyable.

The accommodation environment is okay, so it is decent. But the buffet, the night performances in the lobby, and the various sofas and chairs in the swimming pool at the back are very good for sunbathing. Overall, this hotel is awesome and cost-effective. (Why write a review? Just to help everyone understand the situation, because I feel that online reviews help me travel less than stepping on too many holes, help each other.)

Very clean and comfortable. We stayed one night as we left spain. Nice staff. Restrauant ok. It would be nice for a few days stay when the pool and bars open. It's a very pretty setting with a shuttle to the beach and to the airport(limited hours). Downside pillows on beds 1 are one long one so not very comfortable. Rooms have nice outside areas
