Sol Torremolinos – Don Marco

The hotel is located right across the beach and within walking distance from the train station. There are lots of facilities such as pools, spa, bar, restaurants, etc. The room itself is basic and looks a bit dated. The sea view is great. Not the best service I have had.

Stayed for 10 days at the don marco. 10 mins from the airport right on the sea front. Reception staff on arrival really good a welcome cava and collected our keys. Room on top floor excellent balcony ,unfortunately building work going on at don pablo was rather noisy. That said it didn’t impact us to much. Room was nice and clean I think the wet room and bathroom could do with small shelves to put toiletries on. A mirror somewhere in bedroom would be handy too. Breakfast was adequate, only one coffee/tea machine only just hot enough ?for a morning drink. The entertainment staff all good did some gym/exercise classes. All in all a good hotel nice staff and clean hotel would stay again.

Love Don Marco,stayed a good many times,staff excellent,breakfast this time was not as plentiful as before and is served in the hotel rather than don pedro or don Pablo. Our room was great with wonderful pool view but I just don't understand why sink is in the bedroom now and not in the actual bathroom ,im not a fan of the refurbishment. I like privacy while washing myself. Rooms are spotless and towels replenished daily by lovely ladies who always say hola. Entertainment was good ,we watched from our balcony and enjoyed it. Pool is quiet but there are other with music and exercise.yoga in mornings . Great time there but not a fan of the changes in rooms,we were offered another room but loo separate to shower and sink was still situated in bedroom . I've been staying 10yrs in this hotel complex but I may reconsider nxt Yr which is a real shame.

This is a beautiful hotel complex in the perfect location. We had a sea view room which beautiful and had lots of added extras such as tea making facilities and beach towels. It is really good to be able to use any of the pools in all 3 hotels as it is therefore possible to always find somewhere quiet to relax! Food is excellent and always a great variety. One small thing that could be improved would be if plates for hot meals were heated as this would keep the meal hotter for longer. Overall, an excellent stay!

As soon as we arrived at this hotel,we were blown away. Check in was easy, our room was ready, even though we were early. We were offered a glass of cava to welcome us. Such a lovely touch. The hotel itself is fantastic, many pools, bars and entertainment. Every member of staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant staff were so attentive to my son who has food allergies. Nothing was a problem. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning .

Very disappointed in this hotel, did not deliver in any way. 1. Electricty kept going off during the night which lead to a emergency light coming on which could not be turned off, this happened 5 nights out of 2 week stay, Air conditioning would also go off.which resulted in gettin woken up and not being able to go back asleep . 2. Cleaning person cleaned our room at 12.30, we returned at 6.30 to find our door had been left open all day, security check cameras to confim that the room had been left open all day, thankfully we had noting stolen, 3,Adult only pool had children in playing ball and were never this rule was never followed, 4.Never stayed in a hotel where you had to pay 1 Euro for a pool towel to be exchanged. 5.Pool terace snack bar onel lady long blonde hair extremely rude and by no means helpful,. 7.Not enough storage for hanging clothes 8.Breakfast every morning stared at 7.30 , when we would go down at 7.45 the hot food was always cold. I would not recommed this hotel at all, and certinaly not worth the money.
