I booked this hotel and the Faroe Islands as a present for my father's 70th birthday. It was absolutely amazing. The location - absolutely perfect for the capital. So many amazing restaurants and bars within walking distance, it can't be beaten. We stayed in one of the cottages - Vid Anna. It was a traditional faroese cottage and I highly recommend you book one of these 4 cottages if you can , they provide such an authentic experience are so cosy and have so much space! Food wise- The sea food buffet on the Friday in the panorama restaurant was a massive highlight, amazing views of Torshavn and the quality of the food was brilliant. Hotel staff extremely friendly and accommodating, genuinely can't recommend it enough. Thank you Hotel Hafnia for an incredible experience and we will definitely be back!

We stayed for one night in the ‘tiny double’ room. It WAS small but perfectly adequate if you go in expecting a small room. The staff are friendly; the vibe is cool; breakfast is the standard delicious Scandinavian buffet; and it’s in a great location to walk around town. Parking is tricky in town but they have a map to help navigate where to park.

I first used this hotel a few years ago when it was in the process of being refurbished. Well, what a difference! Although my room was bijou, it was stylish and very comfortable. There was a lot of 'retro' decorations which made it interesting. The bed was extremely comfortable and the food (breakfasts, cafe and restaurant) was top notch! The staff were friendly and very helpful (particularly the staff on the desk). One excellent feature was an really effective set of blackout curtains which helped my sleep. I would unreservedly recommend this hotel as a great base when exploring the area.

Great hotel; excellent location for walkers, immaculate hotel with very nice buffet breakfast. I booked a suite on one of the top floors; it was lovely and had a wonderful view. All members of the reception staff were truly exceptional....warm, friendly, patient and willing to gather all sorts of informative details to make my stay for a week so memorable.

We had a very nice stay. The rooms are small indeed but have everything needed inclusive nespresso machines. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Location is great. No doubts we will stay there again when we come back to the Faroes. Thank You.

My flight to Faroe was canceled and instead of being understanding or offering any constructive help, the hotel berated me in several emails saying that it was my fault and that they would not refund me. The duty manager was extremely rude and condescending.

We stayed in Hafnia Hotel four nights, in an accessible room, since my wife is using a wheelchair. The location is central, colours and design is tasty, and we were overall happy with the room and bathroom, cleaning and service. Excellent breakfast. Good value for the price. Friendly and smiling staff, but the young Faeroe breakfast staff should try to speak Scandinavian rather than English with Norwegians like us, Danes and Swedes. The dinner menu should have had more options, but there are many restaurants just a few steps from the Hotel

Is the Dame of hotels in Torshavn, newly refreshed but the same good home from home. The breakfast and dining room is great. Frendly friendly service and in the center of the center. The lobby frond desk staff is wonderful! One can order panorama for a party or birthdays
