Fantastic place for my holidays in Spain! The hotel is next to all the important monuments, restaurants, shops, supermarkets... The attention of the staff is excellent, everything is very clean and it has a very good value for money.

I would like to begin this review by saying that I have travelled all over the world and have stayed in all types of accomodation from mud huts to beautiful hotels. However, I have never in my life met a receptionist as rude as the older lady I met tonight in this hostal. My sister and I booked a twin room in this hostal for 12 nights. Everyone from the cleaning lady to the gentlemen at the reception desk have been absolutely lovely. My sister requested extra towels this evening and was told very rudely that wasn't available. I went down to reception to explain that we had been allowed to do this earlier in the week. The lady in reception spoke very rudely to me, told me this was a hostal not a hotel and proceeded to call someone with better English. I thought that I would be polite and smile and my reward was the receptionist making rude faces at me, mocking my smile. I can only equate it to something you might see in a school yard. She actually did this twice. I am absolutely speechless......... fine don't give me the towels but please don't rant about it and make faces at a guest. This is our last night thank goodness. I certainly don't want a repeat of tonight's episode. Before tonight's experience I would have given a much better review

Alguna araña o chinche de cama me picó durante la noche en la habitación 218 causándome una fuerte reacción que duró días. Más allá de ese punto es cierto que el hostal entra dentro de lo correcto. Una verdadera lástima ese mencionado aspecto negativo.

El encanto de la antigua casa de huéspedes se mantiene intacto en el Hostal Mediterráneo, que ha sabido combinar la tradición con la comodidad moderna. Nos sorprendió gratamente la relación calidad-precio, ya que ofrecen un servicio impecable a un precio muy accesible. Lo recomendamos sin duda alguna.

Desde que llegamos al Hostal Mediterráneo nos sentimos como en casa. El personal es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y bien decoradas, ideal para descansar después de un día de turismo por Tossa de Mar. Sin duda, volveremos en nuestra próxima visita a la Costa Brava.

Un lugar acogedor y familiar en el corazón de Tossa de Mar. El Hostal Mediterráneo ofrece un servicio de calidad a un precio muy competitivo. Las habitaciones son cómodas y están perfectamente equipadas. Además, la ubicación es inmejorable, a pocos minutos de la playa y de los principales puntos de interés de la ciudad.
