I had a good stay in the dorms at Begue Pokai. The owner and staff were fantastic and even woke up very early in the morning to ensure that my airport transfer (that they had arranged for me) arrived on time. The guesthouse is very peaceful and set away from the main street but within walking distance of the beach. The dorm and bathrooms were all very clean. The dorm had a fan, but it was very warm inside. The shower had hot water and a shelf to hold belongings. It was great to spend some time in rural Senegal. The guesthouse was difficult for the taxi driver to find, but we called for directions and someone met us on the road to take us directly to the guesthouse. Overall, it was a good stay and I recommend this guesthouse to others.

Lors de notre arrivée au Bègue Pokaï à Kelle, même à une heure aussi tardive que 2h30 du matin, l'accueil a été des plus agréables. À notre grande surprise, nous avons bénéficié d'un surclassement gratuit pour une nuit. Le personnel s'est montré extrêmement aimable et prévenant tout au long de notre séjour. Quant à la propreté, elle était irréprochable tant au niveau de la piscine que des autres espaces communs. Un mot également sur le gérant, dont l'amabilité n'a d'égal que son engagement dans une association locale. Pour ce qui est de la restauration, je vous recommande vivement de manger sur place. Pour un prix très raisonnable, nous avons eu la liberté de choisir nos plats, sans contrainte de menu. La qualité et la fraîcheur des aliments étaient au rendez-vous. Cependant, n'oubliez pas de commander à l'avance pour éviter toute attente. En somme, le Bègue Pokaï est une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter pour son accueil chaleureux, son service impeccable et son cadre enchanteur.
