Reception great, we were taken in charge fast, received all explanation needed as well as the receptionist conducting us to our room. Breakfast is well prepared and there's enough on the plates. I think the home made pastery is a plus. Quiet environment, hotel far from the main road and isolated between the woods, so if your looking for having big cities around forget it. The swimming is just a 4 star with heating so water was hot and you have view on the open Sky.

Amazing hotel situated deep in the forest, not the easiest to find but absolutely worth the effort. The staffe are excellent, especially Apolline, Alex and Hugo who all speak excellent English. The grounds are immaculate and inviting. The rooms are huge, very comfortable, exceptionally quiet and very well appointed. The food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious and very, very reasonably priced.

The setting was superb, the rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was plentiful and well presented. The down side was the evening meal, which considering the ambience we were looking forward to. The starter of asparagus was good and the dessert was lovely, but the main course, consisted of three items a. fish. didnt have any?!! b. andouillette suausage ( which is an aquired taste, consisting of pigs colon and intestines and smelling very unusual) or c. mushroom risotto. No fish, because they were not busy? What a choice!!

Beautiful hotel on a scenic location, in the woods near Chambord. Rented bikes to go to the castle. Bikes were reasonably small but ok. You can do walks from the hotel. Room was nice, good shower. The restaurant was ok, food not special. Friendly service.

A well located hotel near Chambord, professional and attentive service. Could do better regarding breakfast given the high price, for the same price we had much better elsewhere. The setting is magnificent in the middle of the Boulogne forest.

Review of the restaurant, a third experience as disappointing as the first two. A kir as an aperitif served at room temperature with a pasty amuse-bouche. As a starter, a dry terrine, served with a gherkin and a piece of onion pickle (?), fish served lukewarm, tasteless sauce, cold and uncooked vegetables, ordinary dessert, service by apprentices and a coffee without any sweets. All for 60 euros. But I won't be caught out again, be sure of that! Too bad because the setting is pleasant.

Beautiful place surrounded by nature. Clean, spacious and bright room. A few KM from Chambord. Possibility to rent bikes, restaurant for dinner and snack available. Swimming pool (not open and not specified, too bad in view of the sunny weekend). The +: We appreciate the calm there, we dine extremely well for a reasonable price, the breakfast is complete and in the form of a sweet and savory buffet. Possibility to have a drink outside as well. We are a few steps from Chambord and close to Cheverny too. Ideal for placement. The -: Very young staff and quickly underwater. We have to ask and get up to get the menu to order a drink, we are served a glass of mulled wine, forced to ask for ice cubes, the young man has difficulty advising me on the available wines, too bad because we are still in a prestigious region at this level. The garden furniture is dirty by birds and not cleaned ... for a 4 star I expect something clean and impeccable including in the service. We had a good time there but considering the price a little more requirement would be appreciated. I recommend the restaurant with my eyes closed with well-seasoned dishes and good portions.
