Calm and relaxing location with a small number of guests and good service. Location is unbelievable with incredible views. This is a special location for special moments particularly for couples. The Rio Scare a little dated but that doesn’t distract.

Having stayed and eaten at the Bastide several times over the last 40 years, we were extremely disappointed this time. The room prices are very high for the size of the “standard room “ which was so small that we could barely walk around the bed. The food at the restaurant was mediocre, rack of lamb overcooked after being told it would be cooked “rosé”, and only two main courses to choose from! No morte “carte”, only a very limited menu. The cheese plate was ridiculously small with 3 old pieces of cheeses, not even a local one. Breakfast was good and plentiful though. We shall not return.

Two nights in a wonderful hotel! The SPA is comfortable, the outdoor pool has been tested, great! The panoramic view from the rooftop tower is fantastic. Pictures worth a million :) A great place for a trip to the Verdon Gorge. I will definitely come back.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wondefully, authentic French experience. The hotel building itself is magnificent and its location is fantastic, high on the hill top, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The rooms we had were very spacious with a fantastic balcony and they were certainly worth paying the extra for. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Dinner was a gastronomic affair on their beautiful outdoor terrace. Be warned if you are travelling with children, there is not kids menu and definitely no chips! However the town of Tourtour is just a five minute walk away with several very good cafre/bistros which do everything from pizzas to chips. In fact I would highly recommend a visit as the town is very picturesque.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location staffed by lovely people :) My wife and I stayed for three nights and there's plenty to do nearby and at the hotel. Equally it's a great place to just relax at the spa or the nearby village of Tourtour. We will probably go back someday.

An absolutely fantastic hotel and location. I would highly recommend this hotel to all. The scenery is magnificent and the village of Tourtour provides some much history to the area. Definitely a must visit when driving through Provence!

We stayed in one the rooms with a view … it’s breathtaking! Excellent service, super bed and they give you a straw bag with towels for the pool which is a nice touch. We also had a massage in the lovely spa facilities, which was amazing. The breakfast was generous with plenty of choice.
