I always wanted to stay at Holiday Park, and I finally stayed there on the way from Brisbane to Cairns. This BIG4 is right by the beach, close to the city, and convenient for shopping nearby. When I checked in, I didn't know the rules of the stay, but it was actually very convenient. I just needed to get the key from the designated box, find my cabin and open the door. The room facilities were very complete, the bed was very clean, and when I left, I just had to return the key to the designated box and I could leave. It was also a very interesting way to check in.

The location is right on the strand of the beach. The sunset is very beautiful at dusk. It is also very convenient to go to the coffee shop to the supermarket and walk for 10 minutes. New modern clean accommodation. Parking and breakfast was included, there is a gym as well. Also, laundry facility and swimming on the 2nd floor. Room can be a bit tight if you are not alone, no black out curtains and no possibility to lock the door from inside. There is no elevator. However, good service and a delicious breakfast
