We absolutely loved staying here. We had a large Japanese style room with a view of the lake. You could watch the fireworks and see the sunsets. The hotel is set slightly apart from the other main hotels which is a positive. The baths were never busy and there was a small outdoor bath. We really enjoyed our stay here

The room facilities are relatively old, but the location is good. There is a beautiful view of Lake Toya outside the window. It is also convenient to take the bus. The meals are very exquisite. The waiters are all elderly people with a gentle attitude, but the hotel as a whole does lack vitality.

Personally, I like quiet places, so I chose a remote place, but I think the downtown area would be better in the winter. There were many restaurants that closed early because it was the end of the year. Fortunately, the hotel provided dinner. The view was good, but the bedding was dusty and the stale cigarette smell gave me a headache. I tried to ventilate, but the window wouldn't open. It was a hot spring that felt old.
