Cocoa is quite centrally located, and driving is recommended. Although there is no public bath, our bathroom has a jacuzzi, and bath salt is provided. I really enjoyed the relaxing soak after driving the whole day.
There are no meals on site, but there are vending machines that sell pre-packed food and drinks. There is a lounge area on the 2nd floor offering coffee, hot water, microwave, and seating.
The room and bathroom windows offer views of Lake Toya. You can see the sunrise and the entire lake covered by low clouds in the morning. So beautiful!
The laundry room has 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. The dryer was so filthy that I had to get rid of the thick layer of lint in the filter, which was full, before using the machine.

The vacation home is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs for guests to relax in.
Skiing is possible within the area and the vacation home offers ski storage space.
Muroran is 25 miles from Kamonoya Toya INN, while Higashi-muroran Station is 25 miles away. Okadama Airport is 69 miles from the property.
The cabin completely exceeded expectations, and I must give it a good review. Photos can't capture the beauty of the cabin, and the facilities and equipment are all high-end standards. It can be seen that a lot of thought and expense was spent on the decoration.
This place meets all expectations for the forest cabin, and the view of Lake Toya outside the window is even more stunning. The view outside the bathroom is better than 90% of private baths. The surrounding scenery is also very beautiful. No need to edit the picture at all.
Full star recommendation.
I heard that the management is a couple who are a little older. I guess the operation is not good, otherwise it will definitely be a popular online store.
Unexpected gain.
ps: Daily necessities such as towels and toothbrushes are not particularly good, so it is best to bring your own if you have some requirements.

The owner was very friendly. He bought us welcome gifts. He even informed us about the weather around the area. The scenery was fantastic as well, as you are greeted by lake toya the minute you step out of the house.
Overall it was a great experience and the owner was very hospitable and friendly, I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone interested in visiting lake toya or Niseko.

LLoner TravellerThe view on Lake Toya from the hotel was spectacular. We were lucky to have witnessed the cloud sea and sunrise. From the other angle, we could see the full view of Mt Yotei, also known as Hokkaido Fuji. There are few restaurants in the hotel, including the Japanese, Chinese, French, and the Italian. There was also good onsen in the hotel, both idoor and outdoor. We will definitely come back to stay again in the future.
SStars and moonsExcellent location with amazing view. I must say we were very lucky on our last day two of the staff member are going above and beyond to assist us to change our shuttle bus from Lake Toya to Sapporo instead of going to the airport. The two staff on our last day was super helpful they call the shuttle bus company straight away to check and not just checking the paper . ( As we have been checking 2 days in the row with other staff member but all they did was checking the paper or system) I can clearly see the difference whether the staff willing to help or not, so we were very lucky to meet the 2 senior staff on our last day in the morning who quickly fix for us. Thank you so much!! Hotel can all be the same but it depends which staff member who are willing to go above and beyond which makes a huge difference to their customer.
JJordon49I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay at Lake Toya. This time, we had the opportunity to view fireworks from behind the hotel. The hotel has two onsen, which alternate daily; one is on the ground floor, and the other faces Lake Toya. The breakfasts and dinners are amazing, but for the dinner buffet, it's best to book an early time slot, as they reduce the food replenishment after 8 pm.
IIrisHuaFacilities: Complete
Sanitation: Clean
Environment: Beautiful
Service: We asked the front desk to help us book a restaurant, but the restaurant could only understand Japanese. The front desk lady gave the reason that we could only book a restaurant in Lake Toya. Other areas are not allowed. She helped to make a phone call. I don't understand. There is a big gap between the service and the hotel room rate.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Toya while sitting in front of the window. Although it is an old Japanese-style hotel, the front desk staff, from uncles to handsome guys, speak very good English. The hot spring is good and the tatami is comfortable.
LLeecueThe room is big and clean, not crowned. Onsen is ok. View from our room can see lake toya. Not too far to go to convenience store and go to see toya illuminium
TTohWe stayed in a Japanese-style room facing the lake. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, but the furniture is old, just not so used to small toilets. Reception and lobby ambience make you feel great. The breakfast buffet is part of the room package. Food spread is generally good, and seafood is served.
GGuest UserWe absolutely loved staying here. We had a large Japanese style room with a view of the lake. You could watch the fireworks and see the sunsets. The hotel is set slightly apart from the other main hotels which is a positive. The baths were never busy and there was a small outdoor bath. We really enjoyed our stay here
AAnonymous UserTake a bus from the Donan bus stop at the right entrance of Toya JR Station for 15-20 minutes, get off at Toyako Onsen Station, and walk for 2-3 minutes to the hotel.
The facilities are relatively old, but the open-air hot spring on the first floor is pretty good (there are also indoor ones).
Remember to bring a bath towel from the room when you take a hot spring bath.
There is no mineral water, so you can drink directly from the tap in the room. There is a kettle and a refrigerator.
Most of the small restaurants on the street open at 11am and close at 7pm. Therefore, most restaurants are run by elderly people who prepare food and slowly serve tourists. Breakfast at the hotel is from 7:30am to 9am, and many hotels in Japan check out at 10am. The hot spring tax is 150 yen per person. If you want to go shopping after checking out of the hotel and leave in the afternoon, the hotel can store your belongings for free until 12am on the same day, and 500 yen per item will be charged for more than one minute. It is better to store your belongings at the nearby Toyako Onsen Station, which costs 300 yen until 9pm (you can put down a large box or two small boxes). If your box is full, you can also ask the staff at the bus station information office to pay for storage, and they also have umbrellas to lend to tourists for free. More warm than hotel service
The average price for hotels in Toyako is AED 1,215 on weekdays, and AED 1,290 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
