Owner is super helpful. Hotel is just 5 minutes drive from Tateyama station, great for travellers who are heading to Kurobe Alpine Route for snow wall.
No convenice stores around the hotel, good to book breakfast and dinner in advance. Meals at hotel are first-rated.
Good to note that only shared bath room with onsen provided.

The hotel has catering, and the owners are an elderly couple who are very nice (we booked a double room with two beds, but we brought our daughter's family of three to travel with us. We thought two beds would be enough for three people, but it turned out that the beds were only 1 meter wide. Luckily there was a triple room upstairs, and we added one more person for more than 400 RMB and changed the room). Their daughter also helps out in the store. The hotel has hot springs for soaking (separate hot spring pools for men and women), and is located on the mountain, with a ski resort opposite the hotel! If you plan to go to Tateyama Kurobe the next day, this place is very good to stay. It is a little over 2 kilometers away from Tateyama Train Station. If you make an appointment with the owner by phone in advance, the owner will drive to Tateyama Train Station to pick you up. If you walk to Tateyama Train Station by yourself, it will take 30 minutes! Our boss drove us to Tateyama Train Station at 5am in the morning, and it took about 7 minutes to get there. We queued up to buy tickets for Tateyama Kurobe and got the first ticket for the 7:10 train!
