Located deep amid the narrow streets of the Trarbach part of town on the right bank of the Mosel, the Goldene Traube is handy for some traditional local eateries (and drinkeries) but seems a far cry from the bright and open spaces of the river bank. A room on the second floor had little natural light with the close proximity of adjacent buildings in the old town and the rooftop terrace (labelled “rooftop bar” but with no bar available...) is only a partial relief from a building that is generally too dark. The bedroom was also poorly lit and furnished, narrow and without chairs – but with an excellent bathroom and comfortable beds. There's a free outdoor parking space just a moment's walk away, very handy in these narrow streets.

A most fantastic hotel with amazing staff who couldn’t have been more helpful.Daniel speaks English very well.Convenient location, comfortable spotless room,comfy bed,great shower.Rooftop terrace with far reaching views.Honesty bar on first floor.Wonderful Buffet breakfast.

The city was very nice and cool, but in the room there was lots of bugs, no receptionist for 2 nights of stay so we can talk to, only by phone. usually the room should be cleaned every night of stay which was not the case. sorry for this

Een mooi hoteletje in het centrum van Trarbach. De kamers zijn mooi en van alle gemakken voorzien. De ontbijt ruimte is zeer smaakvol ingericht. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en voldoende keuze. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Wij hebben genoten van de omgeving. Er is een “maar” niet in maart naar deze omgeving gaan. Liever iets later in het seizoen dan is meer te doen in de omgeving.

Das Hotel ist modern gestaltet und geschmackvoll zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, das Frühstück absolut top..Hier findet jeder etwas. Parkplatz und Garage für die Räder war kostenlos vorhanden. Das Personal ist professionell und absolut hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder wenn sich die Gelegenheit ergibt.

Das Hotel liegt optimal mitten in der Altstadt, trotzdem ist die Lage ruhig, kostenfreie Parkplätze sind in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Haus. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat viele gute Tipps parat. Das Zimmer und Bad waren geräumig und modern ausgestattet. Im Bad gab es genügend Ablageflächen. Das Bett war bequem, allerdings sind die Kissen durchgelegen und die Decke war für den Sommer zu warm. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und gut mit einer großen Auswahl an frischen Brötchen. Leider handelte es sich beim Obstsalat um den üblichen aufgetauten "Hotelobstsalat". Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein, so dass es hier bei Vollbelegung zu Wartezeiten kommen kann. Traumhaft schön ist an einem lauen Sommerabend die Dachterrase mit einem tollen Blick auf die Stadt und Umgebung. Dabei kann man sich aus einem Kühlschrank mit leckeren Getränken auf Vertrauensbasis versorgen.

Im Rahmen einer Fahrradtour hier übernachten. Für so eine Tour genau das richtige. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, haben aber alles was man so braucht. Lager ist sehr gut und die Dachterrasse ist Mega gut, super Blick über Stadt mit einem leckeren Wein.
