Pros: - Beautifully designed hotel - excellent breakfast- great vicinity to lots of interesting sightseeing spots - few staff are helpful Cons: - service in many areas leaves much to be desired - many of the staff seems indifferent or not well trained - safety risk at the pool in the spa section of the hotel Comment: 1) The service left us really puzzled at times. I fell at the pool due to an extremely slippery area (and I was very careful while getting into the pool) I hurt my left chest and leg area. We saw another woman slip a little bit later as well. My husband and I reported this to reception and they thanked us for the information. Nobody asked whether I was ok or needed anything, e.g ice packs. It would have been such a simple thing to offer. 2) The service in the restaurant was mediocre. We had to pull information about menu items from the waitress. She seemed disinterested and often looked the other way while serving us. I provided her with feedback and her reply was “ok”. 3) Our room wasn’t done after the first night. Not sure why. A fan that was promised to be brought to our room never arrived. No follow-up, so we don’t know what happened. It is so unfortunate because this hotel could be really nice if the quality of the service matched the ambiance.

Spacious & clean rooms, super nice staff, loads of parking spots. Did not try out the spa as I was there for a competition but my room overlooked the pool area which seemed very relaxing & comfy! The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was a highlight, for your taste buds and for your eyes !

A great place to stay with large rooms and fabulous food The staff are welcoming and incredible helpful They could not do enough to help at all times We would totally recommend the atmosphere is warm and friendly

The hotel is owned by the Boesen family. We did visited this hotel now for the 4th time. The hotel has since last year a swimming pool at the spa area which a big plus. The area of Saarland is great for hiking relaxation and als for great food and drinks.

Accueil et personnel au top. Gentillesse et attention sont au rendez vous. Chambres parfaites. Lits confortables et SPA complet. Pt déjeuner fabuleux et repas du soir 4 services en demi pension gastronomique tout en étant copieux. On reviendra!

Wir waren im November 2024 da, insgesamt ein tolles Personal, schöner Wellnessbereich, super Frühstück, beste Betten, etwas enttäuschende Halbpension. Eine inkludierte Wellneßbehandlung wurde erst auf Nachfrage durch uns bestätigt, und fand sich dann doch wieder auf der Rechnung. Auch der Umgang der Chefin mit meiner Frau entsprach nicht dem sonstigen freundlichen Umgang im Hotel, schade.

Schönes Hotel mit tollem Essen; man ist sehr bemüht um die Gäste, sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Servicekräfte. Tolles Frühstück, toller Kaffee! Nichts auszusetzen, fand auch meine Begleiterin, wir planen definitiv wiederzukommen!
