We were booked for a couple months when we got a notification that our room was canceled. We did not cancel the room and promptly called them to get that issue corrected. After a delayed return call, our reservation was restored. Their cancellation policy is a complete loss of funds. I heard from some locals that this maneuver is becoming common. Our flight was delayed, and we got to the motel, because it is sure not what I think is a resort. Regardless, it was just after midnight when we finally got to the property. We opened the door then locked it to go back to the car for the rest of our belongings. That was the last time that that code worked. We messaged the provided number that we received a message from. We have never received a message back from them this was on the 7th of March today is the 24 of march. We drove around for a couple of hours looking for a room for the night we found nothing, so we were forced to sleep in the rental car for the first night of our vacation. Good thing we rented a car and didn’t uber. In addition to that there was only 1 set of towels per person for a 9-night stay. not even two full rolls of toilet paper. There was a laundry facility that we could use to wash and dry our towels; however, it was out of order for all but the last day of our stay, so not very helpful at all. There were four pillows but only 2 of them had cases for them. The floor was all hard surface but could have used a little sweeping during the stay, there was no broom or dustpan or a vacuum for that matter to try to tidy things up. The pool was full of water, and they appeared to be working on it but, that was posted no swimming for all but the last two days. We will never even consider renting there again and will flat out tell everyone that asks where to stay in TI, it will be a resounding no for Oasis Palms “resort” but will for sure recommend Treasure Island as a destination.
