Nice place good room but no air conditioning as advertised. Which meant windows had to stay open . Most rooms face alleys and noise level is high which meant disturbed sleep. Also the owner was not very nice , when I asked to change rooms she said stop complaining. Would not go there again.

This hotel at the top of Trevi in the green region of Umbria was a relaxing and beautiful place to stay and the food was amazing. I went with an organise group and we were very well looked after by the staff at the hotel. The breakfast bar was excellent and the dinners better. I have rarely eaten so well. My room was air conditioned and attractive and the whole building is characterful and elegant. I would definitely recommend.

An hotel that occupies a characterful, historic mansion at the top of the ancient hilltop town of Trevi. Enjoyed an one-week stay as part of a "Ramblers Worldwide" group. The menu was much enjoyed, very good food and wine. The hotel is set among narrow streets.

Stayed here as part of a walking group. The hotel is set in the centre of Trevi. It is beautiful, full of history and very sympathetically decorated. The staff are generous, courteous and extremely helpful . They couldn’t have been more helpful. Rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Food was typical of the region and wine was plentiful. Highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Umbria.

The location of this hotel is ideal as a base for exploring Umbria. A place to sleep only. It is definitely NOT a 4* hotel - no stable, secure wifi/ internet; no tea/coffee making facilities; a lack of any discernible level of service; dodgy bathroom seals and grouting ; non functioning spa bath; terrestrial tv channels only - despite it saying to the contrary in the handbook. Even though my room was grand and elegant, it was dark with no natural daylight. I struggled! My air conditioning worked but others in my group were not so fortunate. They also complained of lack of water, faulty showers, tiny rooms and nowhere to hang their clothes! Overall the hotel is more style over substance. The food? Breakfast was good with a variety of continental/ cooked breakfast, cereals; juices, cakes, pastries and fruit. Lunch - not worthy of comment. Dinner? No menu. No choice. The course were put in front of you by untrained staff and you had no idea what you had on your plate... unless you asked! The wine came in bottles with NO labels - yes really! - and both the red and white were undrinkable! My advice - fill up on breakfast, go elsewhere for lunch and dinner and everything else.
