This place has improved since the last time I stayed here. The bathrooms seem to have been updated and they have obviously gotten some new bedding. Cleanliness was also improved. This is basic, budget accommodation, but I was very happy with the stay and I think this place offers very good value for money. The location is very convenient for Trier city centre.

Good: *The location of the hostel is in the heart of Trier. *Good service for breakfast and packed lunch (you need to pay for the packed lunch). Lots of choices to choice from: yogurt, cruesli, bread, a lot of spreads, fruit, coffee, tea and milk. * Plenty of storage options in the rooms and even a table and chairs in the room. Taking into account: *The beds' slatted bases were boards, so that was a bit hard. Also check the bed slatted before going on top of the bunkbed, it wasn't properly placed incide the bed frame. With a bit of moving the bed slatted around, it was properly placed incide the bed frame. No big problems, just a quick action. Because of the wooden bed slatted bases is was a good stay for the 2 days that I had booked. The second day waking up was painful for my muscles. * Charging your phone can be a challenge, due to the few power outlets in the room (2 outlets for 6 people in a room). A powerbank can be useful to bring with you for your stay. * Bringing a sleeping mask is useful, as there are no curtains or translucent curtains in some rooms.

Betten quietschen extrem Zimmer stinken und sind an den Wänden und Schränken waren Körperflüssigkeiten.als Wasser zum Essen bekam man nur leitungs Wasser und die Milch war am ersten Tag abgelaufen.nehmt lieber Mause fallen mit weil es sind Ratten in den Zimmern.wände so dünn wie Karton und man hört Alles was geredet wird noch 2 räume weiter. Das Essen ist schlecht und schmeckt nach Plastik

Geht absolut gar nicht das Personal schreit rum wie sonst was zimmer total verdreckt und stinkend essen kann man hier nicht weil es schmeckt wie sonst was nix sauber die duschen sehen aus als hätte einer rein geschissen also seit 1912 nicht mehr geputzt is is laut wie sau und die Angestellten können nix und wissen einfach GAR NIX es ist ein fall fürs Gesundheitsamt und d für sonst nix
