I would like to put in a complaint about a staff member who looks to be a new member of management maybe? I have drank in your bar quite often, Today I suggested my girlfriend go to Brogans to enjoy a few drinks with a friend she had planned to meet up with. They sat in the bar for 4 hours, they had food&drinks, later on I joined them both for a drink, we were sat having a drink when we were approached in a very disrespectful manner. Telling us to ‘MOVE!’ ‘you can’t drink at this table!’ We asked him why we’re being moved? He then screamed in my face asking me not to talk to him with that attitude! Now, firstly, I most definitely did not speak to this “gentleman” with an attitude. The man told me his name was ‘Zak’ There was no reserved sign on the table all day, hence why the girls had sat at this table.. so I would like to know why were all of a sudden made to move from this table? And why were we treated like trash by somebody who looks to management? There was also a young lad who was working in the bar, this man could learn a lesson from this lad, didn’t catch his name but his customer service was great, up until the incident with this man we were fine. Sat having a drink causing no trouble or harm to anybody. I don’t usually like to make a complaint but after this experience today we felt that we were looked down upon and treated like scum.  Both me and my girlfriend work in hospitality. We know what customer service skills must be provided from staff members. Today, that is not what we got.

Delicious food . Dropped into Brogans for lunch recently and can honestly say that it was the nicest food I had in a hotel in a long time. Chicken wrap with side salad and cup of soup and all for 10 euro.. amazing value. Lovely friendly staff also..

Simple little hotel in my opinion way over priced and maybe our fault when booking no breakfast included for the money per room wrong in my opinion apart from that wasn’t to bad ,we went for breakfast down the town and on our return my key didn’t work so of course you have to go look for staff member to reboot the key my pet hate and she said did you have key near your phone Nop then another one of our group arrived his key not working I then asked why are keys not working no answer is check out not till 12 yes this was 10.45 they cut keys off deliberately to put pressure on to vacate the rooms Bad form Good location

After touring Ireland and staying in lovely B n B’s and hotels, we spent our last 2 nights here at Brogan’s in Trim. The rooms are tired. Ours smelled off, the rugs are not clean, quite dusty under the bed. It took multiple tries to flush the toilet. Our room was right over the outside courtyard bar. It was warm, we needed to keep the window open, so we got little sleep. We had dinner there and the food was good. But the overall stay was really disappointing.

Such a fun, comfortable, and friendly place! We hope to be back again! We spent three nights here and loved the rooms, the bar, the staff, the food, the location and the price. Irish hospitality at its best! And you can park around the corner for 2 Euros for 24 hours while you take an easy walk to the castle, the town, or the abbey and river. It does have nightly entertainment (which was also quite good) and it will get noisy at night, especially on the weekends. So if quiet is what you need, maybe stay elsewhere. But if you join in on the fun, or just don't let it bother you, everything about Brogan's will be enjoyable.

I stayed here on my own I got hbd last too A family room for €140. This was for room only no breakfast included. The staff in the bar were friendly and helpful. The room number 8 was ok. It had a double and single bed. The radiator was on and the room was quite hot. It was about 18 degrees outside. When I was going to bed there was a group sitting in the courtyard/ beer garden for the hotel. The noise seems to echo or be louder. I close the window but it was still noisy. The bed was comfortable, it is well located and generally nice little hotel. I didn’t sleep that well given the noise and the heat. T to he staff were helpful with directions and information

A group of 8 of us stayed here,as we had a wedding, We Would never come here again,we were all given different rooms at different prices ours at £185 euro and for the same room my brother paid £250,,we were given room number 18 in the old building and the others stayed in what was called the courtyard, our room was just filthy, the carpet was covered in red stains and dirt it was that old it didn't even fit the room, there was a gap between the wall and carpet and it was just caked it old dirt looked like it had been there for years ,it's the smallest bedroom I've ever been in,the bathroom was unusual, with dirt in the shower and tooth paste and dirt all down the sink and shower, and to top it of none of the showers in any of our bedrooms worked, hence we all left unhappy and just wanted a good shower when we got home,we did try and find someone at reception to complain to ,but there was no one for us to speak to,or to give our room cards back to,we were told after breakfast by our server to just leave it on the bar..We had such a wonderful day at our family wedding after travelling so far to be there and ending up having to stay in this b&b was just awful,we did not sleep or wash,if there had been anyone to complain to I would have asked for my money back,or some sort of compensation for the sorry state of what they call a bedroom.

Great bar and restaurant. Celebrate our sons 21st birthday here and the staff, particularly Sandra Stephen and Ann-Marie, went out of their way to make this a very special and memorable evening. From personalised menu to decorated the room and super food and service was second to none. This place is a gem and one you should definitely visit. Thanks again to all.
