Holiday Inn Trnava

Good hotel, but need to improve cleaning, I found dirts and hairs on the bed sheet and pillows

My love and I spent two days in Trnava, before the great and phenomenal concert of rock legends AC/DC. We didn't get accommodation in Bratislava in time for the concert, so we jumped to the nearby Trnava. The hotel was reasonably good for us. The hotel itself is located in a nice part of Trnava, close to the promenade and the center. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The minus is the high price of breakfast, so we didn't have breakfast. We ate outside the hotel. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, but there was a big stain on the ceiling in the room, and the door of the bathroom was damaged, as if it had been soaked in water for a long time, so it had shriveled in parts. It was a little too cold in the room, since the air conditioner was set to a lower temperature, and it could not be adjusted. We tried, but the air conditioner kept returning to the already set temperature. Things like that shouldn't happen at the Holliday Inn. The service at the reception was good, the staff was polite. All in all, the hotel is not bad, but there are parts that could be improved.

Friendly staff in the hotel and nicely decorated rooms, in which the cleanliness was quite satisfactory. The dining room offers a wide variety of food and the lobby offers the possibility to work on their computer and order a drink from the bar. The surroundings of the hotel offer a great opportunity to visit local restaurants or simply take a walk through the old town.

This is one of the best places to stay in the world, never mind Trnava. The staff are incredible, best ever. From the amazing people at check in to the restaurant. I wanted to write a review for their restaurant but it wasn’t listed separately, all I can say is go and try, you will not be disappointed. The director Vlad is never off duty and has built an incredible team around him. I had a light meal in the bar this time, onion rings, chicken Ceaser salad and aglio e olio, the taste was out of this world , it’s very well priced and the Zlaty beer is class Beds are so comfortable, the entire hotel is spotless A big thank you, to the wonderful staff and management

This place is a well located, modern, comfortable Holiday Inn in a fantastic location for visiting beautiful Trnava. Parking is a bit tricky; garage is small and was full but I found public street parking near the hotel which was convenient once I figured out how to pay for it (walk up the street to the kiosk, feed euro coins and get a ticket to place on your dashboard). Service was friendly but took a little prompting. Breakfast was a good four star standard. My only real complaint (and it's more of a chuckle than a complaint) is the ridiculous lighting and theme of the hallways. I couldn't quite figure it out but hallways are very dim with only green light bars around the doors, giving it the feeling of either an amusement park funhouse or a tacky Love Hotel. I don't think that is the desired theme (there was some indecipherable writing on the walls maybe Latin? and some interesting drawings above the doors) and whatever they were going for didn't quite work other than to make it a bizarre adventure every time you walk down the hallway. Other than that, this hotel is a good base and I'm glad to have spent a day exploring Trnava.
