I wouldn’t even call it a hotel. It is in a residential building on the ground floor and is a number of flats knocked together. It reminds me of a youth hostel. The beds were cheap and soft. It had marks on the linen. It was bright and modern. It had no balcony to sit on. The view from the window is a derelict building site. They charge £147 a night. There is no pool. You get a tiny TV with nothing else to account for the price tag. We paid upfront for three nights and they refused to refund a penny. We left without staying a night and moved to a real hotel, with a pool and balcony and a sea view for less. We could not get out of there quick enough.

We booked the hotel as a family with a baby. I can only say positive things! We felt very comfortable from the first minute. The location is perfect, it is only a few minutes from the historic center of Tropea. The hotel offers the perfect mix of peace and quiet and access to the city's attractions. Our room was spacious, modern and very clean. The staff was friendly, helpful and always ready to give recommendations for restaurants or activities in the area. You always felt welcome and well looked after. The dining room is in the basement, you have the opportunity to have breakfast every day from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., which is lovingly prepared by a very nice and friendly lady. We felt very comfortable as a family and can only recommend Wärmsteins!

We stayed at this place for just one night during our trip to Calabria. Large and very clean room. Excellent value for money and very good breakfast. You can reach the center of Tropea in 10 minutes on foot. Kind and attentive staff.

The property is located near the station, on the outskirts, but with a few minutes walk you are in the center of Tropea. Clean, tidy and with a balcony control. Perhaps the only flaw is the TV too small, not even with binoculars you can see well 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 The good thing is that there is a private parking space and in the shade. So if you want, you could forget about the car .... Good breakfast with fresh fruit, sweets and attentive to every individual need. Mr. Antonio took care to ask if we wanted to borrow an umbrella and a cooler with ice lollies, truly thoughtful. He also recommended an excellent fish restaurant to suit every palate. We also went to the sea at Michelino beach, wonderful!!! What can I say, if you want to spend a few days in peace in Tropea, go to Antonio, in his B & B.

Special thanks also go to the lady who served breakfast and the girl at the reception, both kind and very patient. Another aspect that struck us was the welcome of the locals. Domenico, the auto electrician near the property, solved a problem for a friend of ours without asking for anything in return, a gesture that almost seems like a utopia in a seaside location. The property is also located near the center, which makes it perfect for visiting Tropea. The two ladies who do the cleaning are very kind, they always say hello and I think it's right to give a huge thank you to them too. The location is strategic, there are 2 supermarkets within walking distance and the beach can be reached by just taking a few steps, the center of Tropea is really a 5 minute walk away. The breakfast is super abundant and with a wide variety. The lady who prepares breakfast is a sweetheart, always with a smile and super helpful and nice. Esperienza ottima. Camera bellissima (suite): arredamento moderno e nuovo, letto molto comodo, munita di ogni comfort, ampi spazi, ottima pulizia. Personale accogliente e pronto soddisfare le richieste quando è stato necessario (anche alle 23). Sono molto gentili e professionali. La colazione è essenziale (minimal) ma ottima, ho adorato i croissant caldi specie quelli al cioccolato. Parcheggio esterno e non custodito (come del resto specificato da loro) sempre disponibile. L'ubicazione. Il quartiere non è bellissimo urbanisticamente poco "luxury".
