Holiday Inn Express PORTLAND EAST - TROUTDALE by IHG

Having stayed before we knew what to expect: Clean hotel, great location for our needs, nice room and amenities. What we didn't expect was to be in a room next door to a truck stop parking lot not 40 feet from our windows. The noise was unbearable! The rooms on the west end of the hotel are not suitable for an overnight stay and should not be rented or if so come with a warning about the noise and a substantial price reduction. We were very unhappy and got little to no sleep. The vacation and the noise was unbearable! Don't stay in the west end of this hotel!

Convenient to the Gorge. Stop off at the welcome center in Troutdale before heading to the Gorge. Very helpful.

Room was modern and clean. Excellent breakfast offering. Gym is small, but had eveything I needed.

Room is clean and renovated. Breakfast is excellent containing hot meals (sausage, omelette, bacon), warm cinnamon rolls, and much more. Location is very convenient for visiting Columbia River Gorge.

Fully updated room, comfortable bed, clean, nice ambience. Plenty of parking. Decent pool not heated though. Hot tub was not working and needs update. Shower was a bit leaky. Breakfast was good, they were missing potatoes and waffles though.

The pool was a good temperature breakfast was included. The staff very helpful.
