Residence Inn Dayton Troy

We held a family baby shower there. Not only were the staff accommodating and helpful, but friendly and warm doesn't begin to describe our experience! I had very little stress throughout the planning process because if the efficiency and hard work of the manager. During the shower, the staff helped and cleared items for us. I don't think this shower would have been as perfect as it was without this staff. We felt very welcomed and at home. The hotel was clean and professional. They even joined in on wearing pink for the twin girls arrival! I wish we lived closer (this entire event was planned out of town) because I'd have all events here in the future. Rest assure if you have it here you will be taken care of! A million thank yous to all of the staff. Job well done! The family complimented me throughout the entire shower on all of the help and beauty of the location.

Hotel had an unloved feel. Older carpet and furnishings and not the cleanest. Garbage smell from disposal, when we entered the room. Bed sheets smelled. On the positive side, staff was friendly and hotel did offer complimentary breakfast. Office park environment, so it offered a quiet night's sleep.

One of the best properties we have stayed at and we travel a lot. We had beautiful, clean rooms and a fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Staff were friendly and we did get a free upgrade to a suite with a fireplace. Very cozy and great experience.

We travelled to Troy, OH, for a sports competition with friends. The space to spread out in the living area at the Residence Inn by Marriott Dayton Troy was great. The kitchen had what we needed for our short stay, and we grabbed breakfast downstairs to eat in the room. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms made a huge difference - each family had their own private space, but could hang out in the shared living room. The beds aren't terribly comfortable, and the walls are paper thin - so much so that we had to bang repeatedly on the wall for our next door neighbours to get the hint at 1am... However, the staff were wonderful and made our stay a good one.

Decent property, definitely beginning to show its age but is well maintained and clean. What really made the stay exceptional was the guest service. Steven at the front desk checked us in and made us feel so welcome and appreciated as guests. We later had questions and were again helped by Steven. He really made this hotel stand apart.

We had to move 3 times during our one night stay. A constant back up noise of a tractor beeping all night long was not my idea of a good stay. We asked for a quiet room and was given the worst room. The desk clerk finally got it right but why this was not done in the first place was beyond me. You either have highway noise or factory noise.
