We had the pleasure of staying at Severin Safari Camp in Tsavo West this June with family and friends, and it was a truly magical experience. The camp is beautifully set in the heart of the park, with stunning views and well-designed, comfortable tents that blend perfectly with nature. From arrival, we were welcomed with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Special thanks to Camp Manager Rawlings, whose professionalism and personal attention made our stay seamless. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. Game drives were a highlight … while we didn’t spot lions, we saw plenty of elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. Our guide was knowledgeable and made every outing engaging. Evenings by the campfire, under the stars, were the perfect way to end each day. Severin is a peaceful, authentic escape . Ideal for families and anyone seeking nature with comfort. We left with beautiful memories and look forward to returning!

Excellent service with friendly staff. The kids menus with titles of animal names was quite a unique thing that caught the kids attention. Example: Buffalo, which was mashed potatoes served with vegetqbles and fish fingers.

The staff is truly first rate, we really enjoyed our time with them. The safaris were very good we enjoyed them immensely. The tents are remarkably clean and comfortable. The shower could use a little upgrade other than that everything was fine.

When I bring a group to Kenya, Severin is always my first stop. It makes the first night “feel” like you are on a safari. I always prefer a tented camp as you are with the animals. Seeing Wildebeests or Zebras come to the waterholes while you are enjoying wonderful meals puts you in the heart of things. The staff is always helpful and accommodating. My group loved it there. The tents are comfortable and well appointed. Who expects a bidet in a tent!

Our trip is easy to summarize in one word: excellent. Severin picked us up at the SGR train station in Mtito Andei, which made traveling there by ourselves really easy. The game drives they organize are a lot of fun and the staff is wonderful. We had a great deal of variety in our activities ranging from game drives to a 4 hour ranger walk and a walk with a Masai. All organized by the lodge and absolutely wonderful. The food was also amazing. We would love to come back one day!

Severin Safari Camp is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Tsavo West! I stayed here with two guests, and the experience was unforgettable. The camp blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, offering a genuine safari feel without sacrificing comfort. Our tent was spacious, well-appointed, and had stunning views of the landscape, where we could spot wildlife right from our deck. The staff were warm and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. The meals were excellent, with a great mix of flavors and fresh ingredients. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and have a truly memorable safari experience, I’d highly recommend Severin Safari Camp.
