This is one of the best hotel I have stayed in Japan within reasonable prices. I was visiting Center for computational science, Tsukuba University. The shuttle service of the hotel is very nice and convenient. If you are visiting KEK this hotel is also perfect. The one thing I love about the hotel is the public bath and the Sauna.
One thing is missing is the public bus information. That is a bit confusing if you are travelling from the Tsukuba center.

The sauna was comfortable and smelled great. It's a shame that I can't use it in the morning. There was no indoor bath, but it wasn't a problem. There was no mirror in the bathroom, so I had some trouble shaving. The room was clean and comfortable, and there was a convenience store nearby, which was helpful. I stayed here on a trip to Tsukuba. It's just right for a regular hotel. There's nothing particularly spectacular about the view. The Italian food at dinner was very delicious. This time it was part of the plan, but I personally would like to go again. However, there are no chairs for children at the dining area. The breakfast was cold, probably because we went late. I was happy to see slippers, pillows, and toothbrushes for children in the room. Also, the hotel staff were very considerate and helpful.

The salmon carpaccio served at dinner was superb. I don't like salmon, but I decided to try just one slice, and was impressed by how tasty it was. The other dishes were also very tasty, and my daughter and I had a wonderful time.
