We stayed in a twin room with a garden on the first floor for two nights with our dog. It's not exactly spotless, but it has plenty of dog amenities such as a dustpan, deodorizing spray, and pet sheets, and there's also an indoor dog run, making it a great place for dog lovers. The hot spring is colorless, transparent, and odorless, so it doesn't have much of a punch, but it's a weak alkaline simple spring, so it feels good on the skin and is very soothing. The food wasn't fancy, but it was just the right amount for a senior couple and was delicious. The staff were also kind.

There's nothing wrong with the building being old, but they cut corners on regular cleaning and maintenance. They didn't pay attention to replenishing amenities, they didn't clean the room well (empty bottles were left under the TV stand), and most importantly, the room stinks. When I turned on the air conditioner, it smelled awful, so I turned it off right away. It was described as a special dinner, but I personally found it disappointing. After leaving the inn, I tried to think back on the good things about it, but all I could remember were the bad things. They say there's a shortage of staff in the industry, but I'll never stay at an inn like this again.

There was still snow all around, so it was a nice atmosphere for a trip before Christmas. I only stayed overnight with breakfast, but the breakfast was delicious. Coffee and drinks were available all day long in the guest lounge, which had a fireplace and a billiards pool. It's not particularly luxurious, but it's clean. It was vacant on a weekday, and the bath was open until midnight, so I was able to relax. I stayed at a prefectural resident discount, so I got a good deal. The room I stayed in was clean, but it seems that they've renovated everything else. Good value for money.

I visited in the fall of 2021. Perhaps because I had a pet with me, the hotel called me on the day to confirm the time and location of dinner. However, I was told that meals could only be eaten on the terrace because of pets, so I asked if it would be cold to eat on the terrace. I was told, "It's not cold. We also have winter clothing available to rent." I believed them and made a reservation for dinner on the garden terrace, which turned out to be a mistake. When I went to the dinner venue, it was cold and windy, so it was the worst environment. I borrowed a winter coat and tried to eat, but it became freezing cold before the food started to come out. I asked the staff if I could leave my dog in the room because it was so cold, and if I could eat it indoors later, they said that the indoors were full. I asked if I could take it home, or if I could eat it indoors later, even if it was cold, but I couldn't do either. They said they would bring the food all at once, so I asked them to eat it quickly. So I started eating in the extreme cold. They brought out hot food such as soup and chicken, but it was cold within 3 minutes... No, I was forced to eat food that was in the refrigerator. We went with four people, but three of us went back inside because it was so cold, and at the end we were given sorbet as a harassment... It was such a terrible response that when I checked out, I handed the front staff a paper with the whole situation written on it, but now, 8 months later, I haven't even received an apology email. I think I was crushed. This is the first time I've ever been in such a harassing hotel. I will never use it again.
