The atmosphere was good and the breakfast was delicious.
The only downside is that there are a lot of stairs, so it's inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage! It was hard to go up and down with a heavy carrier. ㅠㅠ
I want to come light next time and stay there again.

This is a place I definitely want to come back to when I come to Izuhara.
It is still quiet and retains its beauty.
I recommend adding breakfast to your reservation.
It is delicious.
This is a twin room with an ocean view on the upper floor.
It was comfortable because it had a toilet and bathroom.
I think it would be good to keep this in mind because there are only stairs.

I used a triple room. The facilities were very clean and nice.
The triple room felt more like a hotel rather than a traditional Japanese house,
and the double room definitely felt like a traditional Japanese house.
The heating is very weak, so I don't recommend it for cold weather.
And when I boiled water in the coffee pot while the heating was on at night, the power went out, which was very disconcerting.
When I removed the coffee pot, the electricity came back on a little while later.

Staying in a temple is a very special experience. You can choose Japanese-style (shared toilet) or Western-style rooms. The breakfast meals are delicious. If you drive up, be careful to turn. Parking is 300 yen. Many small details make this place special.

It was just as I saw it in the blog review photo! I really got a lot of healing from it.
But it doesn't prevent noise at all.
I couldn't sleep because I could hear the late guests washing up and talking.
Please note that there was even a Wi-Fi password, but it did not work!

It was a wonderful experience staying at the ancient temple. In addition, it is a place where Ambassador Samyeong, the hero of the Japanese invasions of Korea, stayed and where the Joseon Tongsinsa passed through, so I have new feelings. Any discomfort is offset by directly experiencing an environment or historical place that may be somewhat uncomfortable. I think this is a good place to stay if you want a nice breakfast and a quiet rest.
