We are a UK couple, backpacking, this hotel was nowhere near suitable for a single night. The room was filled with mould, walls were visibly blackened with damp., You had a face full of musty air smell as soon you walked into the room. The manager/ owner was extremely arrogant and did not accept his room was mouldy, informing us he was unaware. Completely unacceptable even for Vietnam standards. He later could not give us an alternative room and did not offer a refund saying that the booking site had already taken the cash... Believe this if you wish. We took this up with the booking site and they are initiating a refund.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and without a doubt it was a great place to stay. It is very centrally located, you can walk anywhere and has very good restaurants nearby, I would especially like to mention the friendliness of the receptionist. He helped us in every way he could, both in booking the activities and in making our stay an experience of 10!!!! We also highly recommend trekking through the rice fields and seeing the local life in and around Sapa. We will definitely recommend it, thank you very much for everything, I hope to see you soon!

Muy mala experiencia en este hotel. Llegamos a las 5:45h, así que pedimos un “early check-in” (con el extra económico que esto supone). Teníamos reserva para dos noches. Nos asignó una habitación que estaba bastante bien. Después de descansar un poco nos fuimos a hacer un trekking por la zona. Nos llamó varias veces por decirnos que nos cambiaba de habitación y que teníamos que ir a recoger nuestras cosas. Al llegar al hotel nos da una habitación mucho más pequeña y con un baño diminuto (adjunto foto). Obviamente al verlo se lo comentamos y accedió a darnos otra más grande. Hasta aquí ok. El día siguiente por la mañana, cuando ya estábamos haciendo un trekking nos escribe para decirnos que nos vuelve a cambiar 😐, porque “necesita esta habitación”. Al llegar nos ha puesto en una habitación de características iguales (por qué nos cambió…?) , peeero con la diferencia que la cama era más dura que un ladrillo. Imposible dormir allí. Se lo comentamos (considero que bastante bien por todo lo que llevábamos) y, muy a regañadientes, nos puso otra vez en una habitación diminuta. En fin, 5 habitaciones en 2 noches, haciendo y deshaciendo maleta todo el día. Por cierto, el desayuno, si se le puede llamar así, dejo que lo juzguéis vosotros mismos por la foto… lamentable (café de sobre, no tiene leche, pan seco, los restos de la otra gente en el mismo lugar que la comida, …). También decir que no todo es malo, el lugar es muy limpio y bien ubicado.
