Second time to this hotel Bad points Our room was at the front of the hotel which could be quite noisy Not all the food was as hot as it could be Good points Room spotless Beautiful location Plenty of food and drink options A big shout out to the guy in charge of pool area/sunbeds he does a fantastic job morning and evening and you may even get the odd smile!! Staff friendly considering they work long hours. Would like better entertainment but all in all if your after a relaxing break in a beautiful setting this is perfect

Very disappointing. There is no animation , nothing organised in the evening. Nor during the day. Everyone just walked around sad and frustrated. The team is lackluster and also just look mad the whole time. Tours outside of the resort costs an arm an and a leg. Crazy expensive. You have to pay extra for basic stuff like darts and tennis. The food isn’t good either. For breakfast there is only normal coffee and the options overall are just very limited. Samen for lunch and dinner. Not a lot of variety . And taste wise at times inedible. The place has potential cause the gardens are nice but the layout is bad. It lacks atmosphere. It would help to have a place where people come together and where there would be entertainment. Now it’s just the pool bar with a few seats and the inside bar with only a couple seats inside and outside . It’s way to spread out. The pool is nice though and the beach is also nice. (You have to pay extra for beds though so not comfortable at the beach on the rocks) The location and view of the beach is nice though. Those were the only good points about this resort. When asked why there is nothing to do: they said : you came off season so there is nothing. First of all, rude!! And it’s the first week of oktober. I’m not that far “off-season” . You still have a packed resort and it’s super crowded. You are just not gonna do anything with anyone and let everyone bore to death? Weird! This resort is not it. Very depressing!

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful experience at the Neptun Hotel in the coastal resort of Tucepi. We were greeted with a smile from the reception staff, who were very helpful and friendly. Throughout the week they continued to provide a genuine willingness to go above and beyond to make sure our stay expectations were exceeded. For such a large property, it was such a pleasant surprise to find staff so diligent to keep all of the areas as clean and tidy as possible. During meal times, the food choice was extensive with something different for everyone's tastes all the time and with a quality far superior than the usual 3 star rating expectation. The alcoholic beverages were very satisfactory and never ran out. The entertainment team worked hard to give a varied choice of activities to appeal to the different nationalities and age groups, along with the unpredictable weather changes. The pool area was always busy, but unlike other hotels, this hotel seemed to have a never ending supply of sunbeds. Every morning a friendly smile and wave from the pool staff while they cleaned the pool and surrounding areas. The hotel is situated in the quieter area of the resort, but steps directly on to the crystal clear waters of the shingle beach. Here every sort of water sport activity is available at a very reasonable charge. A walk along the promenade under the shade of the trees takes you past the tennis courts and football pitches, towards the marina where there are many bars, restaurants, souvenir shops and then further onward to the next resort of Podgora. A 45 min walk the opposite way takes you through the forests and breath taking views to the resort of Makaska. Finally the back drop behind the Neptun of the Biokova mountain range is just sheer beauty! I would just like to thank everyone connected to the Neptun Hotel, for making our holiday a most memorable stay and we most definitely will be back very soon.

Clean hotel, but the best suprise was that it was all-inclusive. It was nice to have 3 meals, including in the price that we were not aware of when booked the hotel. Beautiful pools and located right on the beach. Definitely recommend, especially when traveling with kids

This was one of the most expensive all inclusive holidays that we’ve booked through TUI. We booked based on all the activities on offer - aqua aerobics, boules, darts etc. Unfortunately no such activities were organised, and what sports facilities there were cost extra. The resort is very small. Only one pool, and that isn’t very large. The sea is lovely but sunbeds and parasols on the beach are at a cost. The food is edible. There is limited choice and some days all I fancied from the buffet was a slice of pizza. Chips were always cold. Very limited choice of cocktails included in the all-inclusive package (Mojito/Aperol spritz/Long Island ice tea, all of which are the inferior pre-mixed sort from a dispenser). Snacks only between 15:30-16:30 as opposed to most of the day at other resorts. Evening entertainment was basic. A simple quiz, bingo or a local amateur band. The hotel itself has seen better days. There are maintenance issues. Staff overall are pleasant and try to be helpful. Until now I had always booked a late checkout when booking the holiday but this was not possible with this hotel. I was advised to check the last day but that it shouldn’t be a problem. The last day came and they charged 200 Euro for an additional 4 hours. I think the main issue is that this is a very basic 3* resort at a 5* price. Expectations were high but led to disappointment compared to other cheaper holidays to Greece and Turkey that were much better.

The hotel has a nice pool and a beautiful coastline/surroundings, but unfortunately, that’s all there is to say about the hotel. We booked this hotel based on the good reviews (people mentioned it was worthy of 4-stars), but we absolutely do not understand where the high rating comes from. In our opinion, the hotel is lacking in atmosphere, with a lot of white lighting and a very basic and dreary interior. There are no cozy areas to sit or play a game, no nice decorations or music to create any ambiance, etc. We occasionally saw some entertainment, but like in other hotels or resorts, we expected more enjoyable activities around the pool (such as games or sports) or more evening entertainment to create a more pleasant atmosphere. The staff had an equally uninterested and unfriendly attitude. A small chat or smile was too much to ask for. This gave us the impression that the outdatedness of the hotel and the manner of the staff might be typical for this region, attracting many people from neighboring countries. For us, this was too grim and lacking in atmosphere compared to, for example, Spain or Italy. The Wi-Fi in the hotel and rooms often didn’t work well, so we mostly used our own internet. As for the room, we paid extra to stay in the main building, but unfortunately, this offered no added value. Our room was next to the stairwell, which, combined with the huge gap under our front door, meant that we could enjoy all the conversations, banging, vacuuming, etc. from late into the night and early in the morning. The floors and walls are also very thin, so we often heard the neighboring rooms. While the rooms don’t look particularly cozy in the photos on various travel websites, they definitely romanticize the rooms and facilities, which leaves you shocked when you arrive in the room and the hotel. The room was extremely small, with no space for our suitcases, very lacking in atmosphere, outdated, and basic. Again, there was harsh, white lighting like LED night lamps, mold next to the outdated air conditioning (which didn’t cool the room well enough, and the temperature never dropped below 22 degrees), dirty spots and food remnants on and in the furniture, and the room wasn’t cleaned well, so it got dirtier as the week went on. We could also often smell the restaurant in our room, probably due to a shared ventilation system (we think, not sure). The bathroom was so small that there was no space to put a toiletry bag anywhere. The bathroom appeared clean and relatively new at first glance, but there were still mold spots and stains to be seen. The beds were fine, but the mattress covers were just loosely tucked-in sheets that constantly came loose, so you often ended up lying directly on the old yellow mattress. The dining hall was unfortunately just as lacking in atmosphere and cleanliness. Dirty floors, chair seats that seemed to have never been cleaned and had black stains, and dirty, discolored curtains. While we don’t expect high-quality fo

What I'd expect from a 3 star hotel. No issues at all. Rooms clean & comfortable only minor niggle is that there are no fridges in the rooms. Food was really good. Didn't think the pool was very cold. All in all a pleasant stay. Would stay here again

This hotel met our expectations of nice & family focused holiday. Its located just on the beach and consists of a main building, several depandances and of a large pool area. We had a superior tripple room, which was comfortably equipped (AC, TV, two balconies) The only small reservation I had was an indeed small bathroom. Dishes served within all-inclusive program were tasty and of good choice (to my satisfaction with a daily based variety of fishes and seafood selection). Drinks (several long drinks, beer and soft drinks etc.) were available from 7.00 AM (in the reception bar) so as from 10 AM in pool bar till 12 PM. Snacks and ice cream were served from 3.30 PM to 5 PM. Parking was charged (8 euros a day) however the parking place is around 150 meters from the hotel. I can easily recommend the Bluesun Neptun to families as it is a place where they can enjoy a lovely vacation.
