Tanque Verde Guest Ranch
4.5/5101 Reviews
We had the best time at Tanque Verde Ranch! The resort was laid-back but still beautiful/luxurious, the activities were a lot of fun, and most notably the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We traveled as a group of four families with young kids, and there were plenty of activities and experiences suitable for all ages and interests. The Cowboy Cookout, horseback lessons, kids club, and mountain biking on the attached trails were a few highlights. This is a place we plan to visit again.

Very suitable for long stays! Dining nearby is also very convenient. The suite-style hotel apartment is fully equipped! Parking is free. The price is quite good 👌👍 quite satisfied with this hotel. Children work here, will come often in the future, will also book this hotel.
AC Hotel Tucson Downtown

Tucson City Center
Always a fan of the AC hotels, and this one definitely meets the mark. Located in downtown Tucson, short drive from the airport and 1 block away from nightlife, coffee, and restaurants. Hotel parking can be pricey, but luckily there are some decent street parking options around. The hotel is right next to a nightclub so you may hear noises til late night so beware if you value a quiet night's sleep. Lobby is well appointed, not huge but has a decent bar. Check-in was quick and easy, not much of a line. Elevators get you to your room quickly, not much of a wait. Not the tallest hotel but you have a decent view of downtown Tucson with large windows. Bed is nice and comfortable, rooms are large with plenty of outlets and luggage storage. Bathroom is large and comfortable and wifi works perfectly. Overall will try to stay again.
Super 8 by Wyndham Tucson/Grant Road Area AZ

We stayed here two nights in February and it was all good. This stay was terrible. The guy who checked us in didn't even say hello, and the only communication was to tell us the room number. The tv was on in the room. We immediately left to meet friends, and came back close to midnight. That's when we realized that the toilet was hardly fastened to the floor. You could rock it and turn it. The bed was comfortable, but had several (cigarette?) holes in the blanket. Morning - no bath towels, no coffee, only one coffee cup, some obvious dirt on the floor, and a couple large bugs in the bathroom. Perhaps housekeeping had the tv on, left, and didn't return. At checkout, we described the experience to the gentleman at the desk and he took some notes. Bottom line - fix the toilet and clean up and furnish your rooms!
Spark by Hilton Tucson Airport

If I could leave negative stars, I would. The manager was helpful and apologetic, however the people that were staying at the hotel were scary. Frankly, it's obvious people come to this hotel as a hook up/party spot and who knows what else. I know a hotel cannot necessarily control who books from them, but people know where to go that they won't be kicked out for lots of noise and partying, and apparently, this is the place. I would never, ever go there again. After going up to the second floor and trying to use our key, someone was already inside the room claiming it was theirs. All kinds of people were coming and going within the 20 minutes that we waited to get a refund. It was not a safe environment for our family. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone, in fact, I would tell you to NEVER go to this hotel... ever! Thankfully, the manager was quick to refund us (perhaps because they do a lot of them instead of fixing the real issue) and very apologetic that someone had broken into our room, however the safety factor was not worth the $20 saved by choosing it. We went down the road to La Quinta and are enjoying a beautiful, clean, and extremely safe room. In all my years of renting hotel rooms, I have never experienced such an unsafe environment. The front desk worker at La Quinta told me I was the second person today to come over from Comfort Suites. Please learn from other people's mistakes! After looking more carefully at the reviews on several sites, it's obvious they are stacking positive reviews to try and outweigh the absolutely gross negligence that has gone into taking care of their place. Again, after looking more carefully at the reviews, I would say this place should be shut down!!!
The Westin la Paloma Resort & Spa

The resort is absolutely stunning - from the rooms to the views, the food and especially the drinks. Blake, the bartender at the Casa 71 tequila lounge was the highlight of our trip - we went down an amazing mezcal tasting journey together and he went above and beyond when making our drinks off menu. Go by the lounge and request the Pink Dragon drink if you’re a fan of mezcal and prickly pear, we created the drink together!
