Such a wonderful experience from start to end. The cottage was lovely, the vineyard beautiful, and the food & wine delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up extending our stay by a night while we were there. Everyone we interacted with from the accommodations team, wine tour, and restaurant were all incredibly friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend staying at Craggy Range for your visit to the area!

All the details were thought through nicely. The breakfast provisions supporting local stores, the bed, the wood fire, the under floor heating in the bathroom. The villa is well equipped but we didn’t cook for ourselves. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. The restaurant was great and the wine tasting by Sarah was one of the best we have ever been to. We really enjoyed this treat. Thank you

Exceptionally beautiful place with very friendly staff. Our cottage was very spacious and provided all the amenities that we needed (kitchen, washing machine, dryer). The surroundings look like a park, and the nights are extremely silent. We had a truly excellent time, and the restaurant is definitely worth a visit, too.

Our 8th visit to Craggy Range since 2020, 4th visit in Merlot Cottage, a two bedroom cottage amongst the vines. This time we were hosting family from overseas. As always the accommodation is superb, with simple breakfast ingredients provided and refreshed each day by friendly staff, who also service the cottage. Of course, each stay must include at least one meal in the restaurant (voted too winery restaurant in NZ), which came up expectations once again. The bio-dynamic vegetable garden seems to get bigger with every visit and supplies the kitchen with fresh herbs and vegetables. There’s building going on in the grounds (a new accommodation house for larger groups) but this didn’t disturb our peace. As part of the accommodation we were offered a winery tour and tastings which was very information and led by one of the staff, who clearly had a great love of the products and conveyed the care that goes into the wines produced by Craggy Range, who have vineyards in Hawkes Bay and Martinborough. We’ll be back!!

Great communication before we arrived. Wonderful welcome & cottage we stayed in set up beautifully. We changed some plans last minute and it was all accommodated. Meal, wines & service just perfect. Thank you Craggy Range. No hesitation to recommend to others.

Comfy, contemporary cottage with beautiful views of the vineyards and Te Mata Peak. Loved the wine bottles decorating the kitchen. Loved having a washer and dryer too. Superb wine tasting and delicious dinner as well. Staff were so welcoming and informative. Highly recommend Craggy Range to stay, wine and dine.

The cottage was well furnished with a full kitchen which was nice. There was wine in the fridge already chilled that you could have and pay for which was very handy. It was very good having a restaurant on site to eat in of an evening especially as it was excellent. We had an excellent meal. The way the cottages were set out it felt very private and nice to have private outside space. Would definitely recommend and would also return if ever we come back to New Zealand. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
