Nestled in a secluded bay, our all-inclusive resort in Tulum overlooks white sands and blue waters. Spend the day at our luxury spa, nine pools, 13 restaurants and bars, private beach, or family zone. We’re less than 30 minutes from underwater caves, amusement parks, and Tulum city center, and we’re less than two hours from Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve.

There is a zoo on Cozumel Island across from the hotel, where several manatees are kept. The manatees are well taken care of. The keepers only feed them fresh lettuce leaves, and the unfresh leaves are peeled and sent to the hotel to make lettuce salad. 1. The food is terrible. Even the most difficult steakhouse to book is average. The waiter in the restaurant is impatient to ask you to order quickly. 2. You can only book dinner after checking in. If you go late, all restaurants are likely to be fully booked. 3. The room service is slow and unpalatable. 4. The distance from the room to the lobby is far and you have to take a battery car, but you have to wait a long time for a battery car to appear.

Incredible place, sophisticated architecture and exceptional service! We went with God's children and had a very pleasant time, they loved it! The only downside is the extra costs for food and drinks, which are quite high!

Our 6th trip to the Cancun area, first stay here - wonderful experience. Wonderful, attentive staff. Beautiful beach and reef. Snorkeling was good - beautiful fish, coral regrowing in the outer reefs. Food quality was better than hoped for - lunch seems to be the best option with dinner being a close 2nd. Appreciated the attention to the Turtles laying and hatching- had a specialist come in nightly to protect and clearly mark areas to keep them safe. Dive shop was great - needed a pair of socks to keep fins from rubbing blisters - they ordered them overnight for me. Restaurant staff are lovely. Room attendants are great - loved the towel art!! Will return!!

Hotel location in the hotel area of Tulum, there is a restaurant by the sea, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with the sea breeze, the hotel service is very good, the staff will speak fluent English, the communication is super smooth, including the front desk and restaurant waiter service attitude is very good, Of course, the service fee of 15% is mandatory for hotel consumption, all of which are included in the bill. The hotel communicates with customers with whatapp. Any time there is any problem, the hotel staff will reply as soon as possible. This is quite comfortable. The hotel is relatively small, the facilities are just like the general, but you can recommend staying and enjoying the holiday house by the sea. The hotel is very close to Ahu Hotel, 5 minutes by bicycle, you can see Tulum's famous Sculpture Mother Nature , There is also a Starbucks next to it.

GGuest UserA Haven of Tranquillity The most wonderful place to stay. Everything was super amazing. Location is great, inbetween the beach and Main Street, hire a bike, makes it easier. Built around trees and an open central space, oozes peacefulness. The Kasa & bedrooms are beautifully designed, huge bed, lovely shower, coffee machine & super comfy. Pool/rooftop bar & food with loungers. A great breakfast too. Last but not least, the staff were wonderful, especially Omar. Could not recommend enough. 😁

DDidiOur stay at Tago Tulum was simply outstanding! The hotel itself is a paradise – the rooms look even better than in the photos, with spacious layouts, beautiful decor, and that perfect blend of luxury and Tulum’s bohemian style. The beachfront view and peaceful ambiance made it the ideal place to unwind. What really made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service, especially from Victor. He took care of everything we needed, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. Victor’s warmth and attention to detail made us feel right at home – a true gem! Tago Tulum is a must for anyone visiting Tulum, and we can’t wait to return

GGuest UserHotel Muare is one of the more popular hotels in the Tulum area. It is a perfect getaway if you want to have a quiet time from the hustle-and-bustle of the city to recharge. The rooms are designed to look like houses in the remote places but with all the modern amenities. It also is a great option for someone who cares about staying at an Instagrammable hotel/resort. There is one restaurant which provides good food. Negatives: -Getting to the hotel will require you to drive through really broken dirt road with several pits. -While the food options are good, if you’re someone with a dietary restrictions - e.g., vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, don’t eat red meat or raw fish, etc. you may run out of options quickly. The staff is flexible though, so they may customize few dishes for your suiting. -In general Tulum is expensive. However, Muare is up a notch. While it was a great place to stay, the price didn’t seem justifiable to me. Specially, since I don’t care as much about capturing Instagrammable photos. -While the staffs are helpful and friendly, their extreme focus on getting money out of you is just off putting. Examples: we planned to have food by the pool and it took them forever to get us the food. They missed certain items in the order. We also had issues with our food (fly in maple syrup) which was still fine (since bugs/insects can fall in your food when you live in the nature). However, when we reported and asked for a replacement, they never returned with the fresh maple syrup. Finally, I had to go to the restaurant and pick it up myself. However, when it came to asking you to pay, they would run behind you to get your sign. On top of that, there is a default tip amount included in the bill which some of them may not even care to mention to you. While checking out as well, they added a hefty service charge to the bill - this on top of the already expensive booking fee. Overall, my review is that it is a good place to stay. However, too expensive and the cost is not really justifiable. Plus for the good service they provide, it is really off putting when you see how focused they’re on getting more money out of you in any way possible.

SShayna0The hotel is beautiful, very jungle like feeling, peaceful and quiet. Love the little cenote. Would be nice if there was a variety of food. Only 1 restaurant, small menu, and it opens 8am so you can't get coffee/tea. The rooms dont have anything to make tea/coffee, So you'd need to head out, there's a nice French bakery 5mins walk away. The location is a little remote but with a,scooter or atv you can get to the beach or town in 15-20mins.

GGuest UserWe had an overall wonderful experience for our 7 days spent at Hotelito Azul! We went with another couple and each stayed in the Oceanfront Suites (we were above them, they were ground level). The rooms were clean and spacious. Somewhat limited storage for clothes but we made the best of the shelving/hanging unit provided. The shower is a dream. The maid service cleaned our room daily and did a wonderful job! We loved the treats left on our pillows each day. AC was yours to control. One challenge we faced that would have a simple fix was the lack of rugs in the room. You’re walking through sand to get to your room and yes, there’s a bucket of water to rinse before entering however we were desperate for a small outdoor rug or just something at either the sides or foot of the bed to brush off sand before getting in bed. Interestingly, our friends downstairs had an awesome runner at the foot of their bed so maybe just consistency with that would make a huge difference! You wake to a cute basket with coffee each morning and they will refill your drinking water as much as you need it in the room. We can’t say enough good things about the staff. You communicate to them through What’sApp which offered quick responses to any questions or concerns or when ordering food/drink. Larissa, the concierge was WONDERFUL. She welcomed us every day and made us feel right at home and taken care of during our stay. She helped fill out trip with wonderful experiences whether it be tours, great local spots for food/drink or logistics. We rented scooters from the hotel the majority of our vacation days and it was well worth it. We did find the prices just across the street were cheaper however we liked the convenience of renting through the hotel. The food and drink at the hotel is all delicious, although we quickly learned that eating and drinking on the beach does get expensive, so we chose wisely when/how much we ate at the hotel. This just comes with the location. The physical location of the hotel is ideal because it isn’t too far down into the beach strip, which traffic became pretty bad the further you drove in. The aesthetic and details of the hotel are perfect for making you feel like you’re living in a whimsical jungle. FYI to all looking to stay on the beach in Tulum, during April-November or so, Tulum gets a massive amount of seaweed that makes it nearly impossible to swim in the ocean. The hotels, including Hotelito Azul, do their best to remove as much seaweed from the beach as possible, but man, is it an uphill battle. This limited our ability to sit out on the beach unfortunately, because the only relief from the heat was the outdoor shower. Which, again, is lovely, but not the ocean. Luckily, Tulum has so many other wonderful things to do that we did not feel this impacted our trip in any significant way. Those that travel during the better months have a lovely beachfront area to look forward to at Hotelito Azul. All in all, we loved our stay at this hotel and look forward to returning in the future! Thank you all!

GGuest UserThe hotel charged us about 20 Euros more than the quoted final price of our booking with ridiculous excuses about different conversion rates. Our room, 2 Queen Beds Room, was next to the kitchen, which was operating all day to serve the beach, pool and restaurant area. Loud service staff and food smell accompanied us all day long. Towels were worn by use and full of brown spots. Breakfast was included but you only could have one thing, either an omelette or a pancake.

NNikolaBokHere’s a polished version of your review: We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and everything was great! The host was incredibly kind and provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel has a garage, so parking was very convenient. It was truly worth the price. The location is good, situated on the main street, but we didn’t hear any noise from outside. Highly recommended!

LLuis Fernando QuirozThe hotel is located around 1,5 km from a bus station. It was quite easy to find. In front of it there is a huge supermarket, many bars and restaurants around. The room was clean, it has all the amenities in it including beach towels. I didn’t like the service of the restaurant on the first floor. The food they served was cold, lettuce seemed to be unwashed. Tips were included automatically to the bill which I refused to give taking into consideration the level of their service.

DDandI started out in my younger days staying at 3 star hotels working myself up to 5 star hotels these days. On this recent weekend trip i held back on my post xmas spending and got a great deal at Kore so I took a chance on it despite all the negative reviews. I think the 1 out 5 star ratings are ridiculously unfair. Rooms were big, clean, and comfy. Location was decent and had great views of the sea. I only had breakfast as I like to get out and explore, so I couldn't tell you much about the quality of food. The waiters were good, as soon as I sat down, my coffee was poured. After they recognized I tip, I never had to wait in line to get my omelets...lol. best part was the service from the front desk concierge (the Mexican soap opera looking guy) Victor. Dude was always so nice and helpful. Upon checkout, I had a late flight out, he knew that I love bike riding, so he let me keep my bracelet to have access until my shuttle arrived. I did not experience most of the issues on these reviews. English speaking staff was a challenge, but i found that was an issue everwhere I was in Tulum. Overall, if you were to go by the strict AAA guidelines, this hotel would probably recieve a 3-3.5 rating and closer to a 4 by the generous booking sites. This was no Hyatt, but a good value. Dont let those 1 star ratings discourage you. My rating does not include the quality of food...
