A great campsite when on a road trip. Clean toilets. Well organised. Mosquito free despite being by the river. great brewery / pizza outlet 5 minutes walk away. A little out of Tumut so need to drive in to shops. Spacious pitches but watch the wind if by the river as fast flowing. Hang onto matresses and light weight camping chairs!

Good place for our group (6 camping sites and 3 cabins). The camping sites have easy access to amenities and the place has good proximity to the places around we visited. The only negative is the very noisy birds during morning - which don't allow us for sleep-ins (after late night bonding).

We were given a lovely little cabin right near the river. We had a little veranda to sit and enjoy the view. It was quiet and peaceful, clean and had everything we wanted. We would definitely be back. The only two negative things were the cabin didn’t have a hairdryer, and we noticed our cabin didn’t have a bbq on the veranda - which would have been nice to have a bbq in the evenings.

We hired a motorhome so we only needed a powered site. We were set up right on the banks of the Tumut River where you can fish. It is located a short walk from the town centre where you can choose from many historic pubs to visit.

Excellent place to stay, especially in Autumn with all the trees. Very quiet on the Tumut River. We stayed with a van using power and water. There are river front sites available, powered and unpowered and ensuite sites and cabins. Coffee van onsite, a camp kitchen and 2 ammenities blocks. Close to town and walks. Can’t wait to go back.

We have stayed here many times and recommended it to friends as it’s a lovely park. However last night we didn’t sleep a wink due to dog’s constantly barking from the farm across the river all night long. Sounded like they were on chains and doesn’t look like anyone lives there. The other campers in the area under the big elm trees also commented on the noise. Very disappointed as we are only here for the weekend and needed sleep!!

Much improved since our last visit to the cabins by the river. Great to have electric blanket for our bed, everything worked (except the spa which didn't). Nice friendly staff.. It's a nice walk to the shops.. or strolling beside the river. Definitely my favourite place to stay in such a lovely town.

We arrived in our motorhome just on dark. Checkin was easy and the staff friendly. Our powered site (53) was a little wet and boggy after the recent rain, but large enough to manoeuvre into a better position. First night there was a very noisy group that made sleep difficult, but this is to be expected on a long weekend. The second night we asked to change sites to avoid the mud and this request was happily managed even though they were very full. Our next site was dry and compact. Great location, good hot showers, kids loved the playground.

Definitely recommend this CP. Very friendly & welcoming staff. We were able to pick our site, so right next to the fast flowing Tumut River we chose. Fires allowed and amenities were the best we have used in our 46 days of travel - hot water, great pressure & spotless! Unlucky with the fishing, but the experience was fun. Campsite was quiet & relaxing!
