Just ok place to stay for a night passing by the area. Small rooms and pretty noisy as the walls are thin. A gang of guys where up until 3am disturbing our sleep before Tongariro Alpine Crossing preparations.

10/10 Such a nice place to stay! Convenient to Turangi town centre and not far from Taupo! Nice, clean and tidy rooms. The hosts are so knowledgeable with lots of stories about local, national and international travel experience! I would recommend for any family, couple or single who has great outdoor adventure drive! We will back again, thank you guys for the great stay!! -July and Matthew :)

This is a great place to stay. It is no frills and has cosy clean rooms. Located about 700m from the City Centre. It has wonderful shared kitchen and lounge. The place has been sold and hopefully the new owners also carry on the great work of the current owners. Suggestion keep rooms air-conditined too for summer or have portable aircons instead of fans. The Lodge is about half an hour away from Mt. Ruapehu and Tongariro National Park.

We enjoyed staying here. It had everything we needed - well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely lounge and pool table. Washing line to dry clothes, local town centre has eateries and a supermarket. Host was very kind and helpful. Great place to stay for Tongariro shuttle - 20 minute drive away.
