Arin Resort Bodrum

Really liked this hotel - the rooms were great, very large and spacious with lots of room, storage and hanging space. And the bathroom and shower were great too - possibly the most powerful shower I have used so I was very happy with that! The food was nice, maybe a bit samey after a few days. The restaurant was always very busy, even when I went a bit later so wasn't the easiest to find a free table but I always found one in the end. Was so shocked to not see any watermelon (karpuz) for the whole trip though! What's a holiday in Turkey without watermelon lol... The staff were nice, especially on Reception and the lady who made the kebab wraps at lunchtime was lovely! Very few could understand much English though so that made me hesitant to ask the staff for help especially as I was on my own. There is nothing nearby the hotel other than a small supermarket - I hear there was a good town about a 15 min drive away though. The main thing I would note is that it is extremely hard to find a sunbed around the pool. The best ones are gone by 8am and even at 9:30am/10am, most are gone. Frustratingly, people were reserving them with towels and then going off for hours. Also, the pool is surrounded by palm trees and umbrellas so there was always a lot of shade. I spent every day chasing the sun around the pool. Just something to consider if you're going especially to sun tan. The pool is huge and looked lovely but I didn't go in. Overall, I had a great first solo trip and I did enjoy the hotel but not sure if I'd go there that late in the year again although I dread to think how much busier it would be at peak summertime!

In short we were so impressed with the location and the potential of the hotel that we are booked in for next year. That said word of warning to anyone thinking of going end of October the facilities are restricted in that there was no a la carte restaurant the starlight cocktail bar closed early and by the end it was a case of all meals being served at the pool bar. Evening entertainment was simply a DJ playing requests. This prompted us to eat out which was not a bad thing because it took us into town where we had great fun bartering with locals and a big mention to Karmal at the target bar who is a top man. He recommended two restaurants, a local authentic Turkish restaurant a few doors down from the bar which was well worth a visit as the food and ambience was just what we'd hoped for. The other restaurant worth visiting is the Salt kitchen and bar where the food was exceptional and the location on the sea front (just up from Arin) just made it all the more special. Thank you Seamus and Idris😉 Back to the Arin and a special mention to Kitty in the animation team who got us all involved and Mustafa who arranged a boat trip for us which proved another special day.... In short highly recommended location and we're going back to see what the hotel has to offer "in season."

Probobly 5 stars in Bodrum are diffirent from another places🤷‍♀️ Room wasn’t the best at the start🙈 We ask to change our room as toilet door did not slide,it was only cold water .In fridge was only water and the glass botle was so dirty .It One of pilows wasn’t changed from previous guests🥵 Food decent ,evry day rhe same .The same cakes every day 🤷‍♀️rice ,chicen ,turkey. I not reccomend to choose this hotel . Even on hotel information packege on a white paper with black ink is writtwn on SPA ,turkish bath ,sauna and steam room is for free ,but when I done reservatiin they said I need pay €40 😡 If you are a pool lover then is a perfect place .I enjoy sunset and sunrise and of course waves 💕and good company as our friends was there as well👍

Perfect place , especially Huseyin from restaurant and security man Birol . They were very helpful and just high quality gentleman . Highly recommend . Perfect place for couples , family trips . Very good food and they really take care about the clients . Lovely place . Ismail and Paula selamlar

One of the best hotels we’ve been too! My girlfriend’s and I had a little time away and we chose Arin Resort. Such friendly stuff, food was amazing staff was super friendly. Entertainment was good and bar down stairs had great drinks & cocktails.

We have just returned from our 3rd stay at the Arin Resort, we had a nice holiday but were disappointed with some aspects in comparison to previous visits. The hotel itself is beautiful, the lobby in particular is very impressive. The pool area is lovely, the man who works tirelessly to keep it all spotlessly clean always has a smile on his face and does a brilliant job. Having the private beach and jetty is a great bonus too. We seem to have been lucky (having read other reviews) in that we have always had a large room with a sea view and big balcony. The sunset from this hotel is absolutely stunning. We would like to say a big thank you to Ozlem in guest relations for being friendly and helpful and also to Zahit who works in the Lobby and Starlight Bars, he made our little boy feel very special, always made a fuss of him with high fives and special mocktails, such a lovely guy. We have previously stayed at this hotel in May 2023 and May 2024, the food and restaurant/snack bar service was much better on these occasions. This time, end of season the service was abit hit and miss, sometimes there was a long wait for anyone to clear/set your table, sometimes our drinks orders were taken, other times we had to get our own. The food in both the snack bar and a la carte restaurant were good but in the main restaurant it was actually pretty dreadful, the last 3 nights of our stay we saw the same dishes out again, renamed and not particularly appetising. No show cooking after the first couple of nights, very limited choice and not reflective of a 5* which is a shame. Overall we had a lovely stay but sadly the food offering let it down this time. Would still thoroughly recommend this hotel but not for an end of season holiday.
