I would not recommend going here. They ask people next to the pool to make reviews, as you can see most have never reviewed before. On arrival there was not even a welcome word from the receptionist. I asked not to make copy of my passport (because of fraud) but as the girl did speak hardly any English, she made one never the less. The room was basic, but effective. The shower could be cleaner (molt) but cleaning is in the whole building not the best point. The sink did not have warm water at all and once we had cold shower too. In the restaurant we had nice meals with enough choice. Next to the pool there were enough beds and sunscreens, I guess pretty new too. The toilets close to the swimming pool are horrible, dirty and demaged. Next to the building there is some small aquapark. As we were in May, it was not open en looked like a disaster. It is located in a calm area without other restaurants, bars or shops. To Turgutreis is a 20-30 minute walk. Dolmus busses are not often, but a stop is nearby on the main road. At the end on leaving, any “thanks for staying” from the receptionist. It did not surprise me anymore. Conclusion: basic resort that needs better management and some renovations.

If you have booked this hotel please change your booking and DO NOT book to go here. The whole hotel is disgusting. It is filthy and dangerous.Common areas are never cleaned. We wrote in the dust in reception 8 days apart.I have no doubt it’s still there. Not once did we see anyone cleaning anywhere. The rooms are never cleaned or toilet roll, water etc topped up.Corridors have not been hoovered for months if at all.Cat mess on the 3 rd floor.Pools, paths, tables, sun beds are beyond a joke.See at least two people slice their feet open in the pool.It is that bad we paid to come home early.I cannot describe how bad this hotel actually is.Take no notice of the good reviews as they are obviously false.Food is cold and bad.I almost chocked on what looked like a sea urchin in a vegetable dish.

How this is rated a 5 star hotel I will never know. We booked this as a package deal through easyJet which makes it even more disappointing. When we arrived, we had to take our own cases into the lobby. After checking in, we was not shown to our rooms or told where anything is. Rooms are dated, bathrooms are even worse. Shower floor was so dirty we had to shower with flip flops on all week. Shower was covered in rust. As for the beds, they were hard and the bedding had rips and stains. 2 of the light switches in the room did not work Balcony was dirty rooms obviously haven’t been cleaned properly in a while. They say your room is cleaned daily however all they do is make your bed - don’t even give you clean sheets. The minibar was meant to be restocked daily. In our 7 night stay water was brought in 4 times. Suppose the only good thing is our towels were replaced daily. Only 2 big towels, not the original extra 2 small towels and shower mat. The food was inedible. Breakfast was just eggs and stale pastries. Lunch was fish or undercooked chicken - some other buffet options but the same everyday. Dinner was completely inedible. They advertise 2 restaurants, however there is only 1 which serves the same food from the buffet. We had to wait until 12 everyday to get chips from the snack bar then go out for dinner every evening. Which is extremely unacceptable when you’ve paid for all inclusive. The drinks - poor quality alcohol. Cocktails are all vile. Bar staff cannot understand you at all and when you ask for less alcohol they laugh at you. Half the time the Pepsi and lemonade was flat too! There was 2 main pools. One seemed to be cleaned more regularly than the other but was impossible to get a space there. We went to the second pool. This was so dirty, around the pool was not cleaned, tiles where cracked and rubbish was left. At one point there was smashed glass around the pool which took multiple people to tell the staff before they come and ‘cleaned’ it up. There was still shards of glass around the pool after this. After checking out, we still had a while until our transfer so we continued to use the pool facilities. We then went to shower in the spa. The shower door did not shut, floor was dirty. Toilet had not been cleaned in a long time either. The staff were most probably the worst part about this holiday. So unhelpful. One night the phone in our room was making a static noise. Told reception they took our room number and after waiting an hour we realised they were not coming up. My boyfriend also wasted his first 2 days waiting for guest relations manager to which she was no where to be found. Whenever he asked where she was he would be told to wait another 30 minutes. EasyJet also did not have a rep on site so was difficult to talk to them too. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I advise you not to book here and waste your money.

This hotel is not 5* but to be honest, it was much better than we expected after reading other reviews. The room - clean, comfortable and done every day. Although the mini bar wasn’t restocked as advertised, we really only use our room to shower, change and sleep so it wasn’t a big deal. Bottled water was brought daily. The food was ok. A bit samey every day but there was always something to have and the cakes were lovely. The restaurant is ok. Cleaned regularly and tables cleared quickly. Omer in the restaurant was a lovely young man. Very attentive. The main pool was clean albeit the toilet area at the pool wasn’t very clean. The main toilets in the lobby were fine. The guy running the boat tours is a scream. Funny every day. Typical sales person but he was lovely too with great local knowledge. If you go expecting to get what you paid for, you won’t go far wrong.

Please avoid this hotel . Dirty, smelly, unhygienic, rude staff, food cold and same every day. For kids no entertainment. Food for kids same every day , chips, onion rings, pasta and sometimes nuggets. Dirty rooms ,have to chase for cleaning.

The "Azure by Yelken" hotel is in a decent location, about a 10-minute taxi ride from Turgutreis (or a 30-minute walk) and around 45 minutes by taxi to Bodrum. The rooms are spacious and clean, with towels changed daily, although a bath towel was often missing. Unfortunately, the beds were not very comfortable. While the hotel looks nice from the outside, cleanliness inside leaves much to be desired. In the mornings, there is an unpleasant smell of unknown origin, and the restaurant is often dirty, with a lack of cutlery on the tables and food that is the same every day and mostly cold. The coffee quality was disappointing, and despite Turkey being one of the largest producers of oranges, we couldn't even get orange juice from a carton. The staff seemed insufficient in number, mostly unmotivated, and with very limited English skills, which made communication difficult. On our last day, we even had to get our own drinks because there was no one to assist us. The reception also faced similar language barriers, which is particularly inconvenient for a hotel in a tourist area. Additionally, the staff responsible for changing beach towels were quite bothersome toward women coming alone, which was uncomfortable. However, the highlight of our stay was definitely the water sports. The guys working in this area were very friendly, professional, and communicative, with a good command of English, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The beach is narrow and often crowded, with an insufficient number of sun loungers. Unfortunately, the beach maintenance was also lacking, with litter like cigarette butts, cups, and plates remaining uncollected both overnight and during the day. Although "Azure by Yelken" has potential, the current level of service and maintenance does not match a 5-star rating and would be more accurately described as 3 stars. With improvements in cleanliness, service, and better communication with guests, the hotel could significantly enhance the experience for visitors.

This hotel is substandard in every way. The quality of the food is horribly low, tasteless, cold, and I can even confidently say it was spoiled. The hygiene was extremely poor, the bathroom was dirty, the toilets were filthy with a bad smell, and the pool water was cloudy and dirty. Even the hotel premises were only cleaned reluctantly and only when absolutely necessary. The staff would pressure guests into giving the hotel high ratings by putting them in specific situations, and if guests refused, they were treated poorly. I personally witnessed them using customers' phones to leave positive reviews. This is why the hotel has such high ratings, don't be fooled like I was. Overall, it's a waste of money and time.
