Very impressed by the service I received. Cosy room. He allowed us to keep our bags there which made our Sunday a lot more enjoyable. I would recommend for a short stay. Location is convenient and not too far from town.......................

Just stayed for the rugby this weekend and absolutely ideal for this. It is basic accommodation but for one night just the job. We stayed in a double room at the back in the courtyard and yes it was compact but had all we needed. Would recommend the breakfast charged at £8 too. Literally across the road from the stadium and 5 min walk to the town centre

My car had broken down outside - waiting for the AA and asked if I could please use the toilet and was refused. The guy behind the desk said that he (and I quote) “pisses in the street, there are no toilets apart from those in the rooms”… Now I understand I wasn’t a guest, but I offered to pay to use the toilet and am in a predicament whereby I’m waiting for the AA and desperately needed to go for a wee. Horrendous hospitality - to allow a pregnant woman to leave desperate for the toilet when offering to pay is not something I would expect of the worst establishment.
