Pigeon Hotel Cappadocia

I was here in July 2024. The hotel was really affordable. The owner, Eser, is an absolutely amazing lady. She is so friendly and so helpful booking trips. She was so sweet to me the entire stay and made delicious meals. I felt so welcomed, and it was such a homey feel. Her husband is very friendly too and they are both such amazing hosts. The room was stunning. It was right in summer, the room only had a fan (AC was not needed because the cave rooms keep cool so a fan will suffice). It was calm and peaceful there. The views were OUT OF THIS WORLD! So so beautiful. I 100% recommend staying there if you're on a tight budget, Uçhisar is cheaper than staying in Goreme. The only downside was places closed early in Uçhisar and there is not much variety in terms of restaurants. It's very quite. I preferred Göreme more, as there is a bit more life. But Uçhisar is very close to Göreme and again a lot more affordable. Although it was a quieter area, I would go back and stay at this hotel again. Thank you so much!

The Ottoman Empire at its height could not compete with the royal service at the Pigeon Hotel in Cappadocia! Walking into reception just the start of the cave living experience with dining room adjacent - the furnishings and craft work set the tone for the stay. Eser and husband Ibrahim make sure nothing is wanting, from food, to suggestions on what to do and then seamlessly putting them into place! All of this while staying in fantastic tastefully furnished suites with breathtaking views across the valley. They are also extremely helpful in meeting non standard tourist requests.

Perched on the hillside below the Uchisar Castle, you couldn’t ask for a better location to watch the Cappadocia balloons ascend at sunrise. This family run hotel offers lovely, comfy cave rooms decorated with authentic pieces; some having been made by the owner’s own family members. Great authentic Turkish breakfasts and many other restaurants within walking distance. The owners are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel to give you the full Cappadocia experience

This is a smaller B&B style hotel situated overlooking pigeon valley, one of the valleys leading down into Goreme. It sits at the base of the famous castle and within a hundred or so meters of the town square, with plenty of authentic restaurants and small markets. The top of the walkway down to the hotel is also just a hundred or so meters from the local taxi rank (Ari’s) and car rental and at end 2024 prices just a $10 cab ride down to Goreme and back. Much quieter than the bustle of the tourists in Goreme. Nice cave rooms with suites that have large windows and balconies overlooking the valley. Breakfast is a traditional Turkish spread - all run by a husband and wife team. Great value and perfect location if you want to be alone or want to be out of the noise of the main tourist Centre’s. It’s not a chain hotel of course but some rooms have jacuzzi baths and all the neccessary amenities. Highly recommended as a value proposition for seeing the sites of the region.

You should definitely choose this wonderful hotel, look out over Pigeon Valley from the terrace, enjoy a delicious and beautifully set breakfast and head out on an adventure!

To begin with I have been solo travelling. And the best thing I could do was stay at pigeon hotel. The owner, host Eser made me feel as I was in my own home. She cooked breakfast and the manager Ibrahim the nicest guy also knocked my door and made sure I don't miss my breakfast. The amenities were immaculate. The cave room was worth the experience. If you are in Capadocia , this is the place to stay. Look no further then this. Looking forward to staying here again.
