A very nice moment in a place full of goodness and kindness.The owner - Eser is absolutely sensational. It's quite rare to be received in this way. I was able to dine with them and its a great privilege . The feeling like I have known them for long time. I felt like I am part of the family. I will never forget this moment. The view from the balcony is sensational. I strongly recommend this hotel. To Eser, may God bless you more.

It was a perfectly special stay. The original cave rooms were amazing. The Hotel has a wonderful view over the pigeon vally. The breakfast was perfect, with homemade ingredients such as jam and bread. We enjoyed our stay a lot und would highly recommend it. Thank you a lot!

I was here in July 2024. The hotel was really affordable. The owner, Eser, is an absolutely amazing lady. She is so friendly and so helpful booking trips. She was so sweet to me the entire stay and made delicious meals. I felt so welcomed, and it was such a homey feel. Her husband is very friendly too and they are both such amazing hosts. The room was stunning. It was right in summer, the room only had a fan (AC was not needed because the cave rooms keep cool so a fan will suffice). It was calm and peaceful there. The views were OUT OF THIS WORLD! So so beautiful. I 100% recommend staying there if you're on a tight budget, Uçhisar is cheaper than staying in Goreme. The only downside was places closed early in Uçhisar and there is not much variety in terms of restaurants. It's very quite. I preferred Göreme more, as there is a bit more life. But Uçhisar is very close to Göreme and again a lot more affordable. Although it was a quieter area, I would go back and stay at this hotel again. Thank you so much!

The Ottoman Empire at its height could not compete with the royal service at the Pigeon Hotel in Cappadocia! Walking into reception just the start of the cave living experience with dining room adjacent - the furnishings and craft work set the tone for the stay. Eser and husband Ibrahim make sure nothing is wanting, from food, to suggestions on what to do and then seamlessly putting them into place! All of this while staying in fantastic tastefully furnished suites with breathtaking views across the valley. They are also extremely helpful in meeting non standard tourist requests.

We stayed at Pigeon for two nights before moving on to Göreme, and it was such a delightful experience! Pigeon is run by a lovely family—İbrahim (apologies if I’ve spelled the name wrong!), Eser, and their son. Eser is incredibly friendly and always eager to help. Thanks to her, we booked a hot air balloon ride at a great price. Her husband, though a bit more reserved, has a wonderful sense of humor (especially when he joked about not liking Eser’s cooking!). Speaking of Eser’s cooking, it truly is the crown jewel of our stay. We absolutely loved her homemade dishes—everything from the jams and dips to the meatballs and clay pot kebab was fantastic. While it may not rival starred cuisine, it’s as comforting and delicious as a home-cooked meal, especially on cold winter nights. I wish we had planned more time in Uçhisar, a peaceful and charming little town, but I’ll save that for my next visit.

Perched on the hillside below the Uchisar Castle, you couldn’t ask for a better location to watch the Cappadocia balloons ascend at sunrise. This family run hotel offers lovely, comfy cave rooms decorated with authentic pieces; some having been made by the owner’s own family members. Great authentic Turkish breakfasts and many other restaurants within walking distance. The owners are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel to give you the full Cappadocia experience

This is a smaller B&B style hotel situated overlooking pigeon valley, one of the valleys leading down into Goreme. It sits at the base of the famous castle and within a hundred or so meters of the town square, with plenty of authentic restaurants and small markets. The top of the walkway down to the hotel is also just a hundred or so meters from the local taxi rank (Ari’s) and car rental and at end 2024 prices just a $10 cab ride down to Goreme and back. Much quieter than the bustle of the tourists in Goreme. Nice cave rooms with suites that have large windows and balconies overlooking the valley. Breakfast is a traditional Turkish spread - all run by a husband and wife team. Great value and perfect location if you want to be alone or want to be out of the noise of the main tourist Centre’s. It’s not a chain hotel of course but some rooms have jacuzzi baths and all the neccessary amenities. Highly recommended as a value proposition for seeing the sites of the region.

Going beyond your expectations; That can be said of Eser and her family who were outstanding hosts during the time we were in Cappadocia. Every query I had was responded to quickly. Eser is a great resourceful person who has extensive knowledge of the local setting. You can rely on her expertise to guide your trip and enjoy local experiences too. We loved a visit to the local markets with Eser as she got her groceries for the weekend’s cooking. She is also A culinary genius so please do dine in at Pigeon Hotel! She also ensured we got to the airport on time for our flight even with a hot air balloon delay of one hour that day! So thankful for Eser!
